for years i was on drugs, in and out of jail, violent and an all around criminal. i lost all contact with my family. there were times when i was homeless. but when i finally surrendered my life to christ, everything starting coming together. i now have 6 years of sobriety, i recently got married to an amazing christian woman, we had a baby boy and are a stable family. thank you jesus i am born again!

I got saved January 22nd, 2012, at the age of 28. I spent 20 years before that believing I was saved, and wasn't. I believed in Jesus, but had never truly repented, or even fully seen my sin for what it was. After I truly bowed the knee and repented, I was born again, and have never been the same. Of course I still struggle with this flesh, but I'm not at all who I used to be.

I gave my life to God when I was 17, when I entered College at 18, I followed the crowd to bars. I'm backsliding from my Savior. I did it again and again and again. I have three children, attended. service's in our neighborhood. He waited for me to grow up, now I have a personal relationship with him. I'm 65 now my Saviour is faithful and gracious he"LL never leave your side because he loves his children very much..

First time I heard this Song from special someone last June 2014, he let me listen to this song from his phone, it's one of his favorite songs, he always listened every day wherever he goes, every message, lyrics it's touched my heart, I felt it through my soul, I keep playing this music and I never tired listening, but the person who showed this song to me, he's already gone. his far away now. For all struggling with feeling apart from the Lord, for all who feel distant and hurting, who worry they have wandered too far, please know that your not too far for the Lord. The very fact that you grieve over your sin, the very fact that you are concerned about finding your way back to your saviour, is in itself proof He is at work in your life and has you in His hand. It's only by His grace and by the Holy spirit that you can feel remorse for your sin, or a desire to seek him! In our flesh, we aren't capable of seeking Him. So the very fact that its on your mind is proof you are on His mind. be encouraged and trust Him, He can and will lead you home to Him.

Jesus told us that He would never leave us or forsake us. Please know that the Lord Jesus is with you, and He told the disciples He would never leave them (or us) abandoned or orphaned, but would send us the Holy Spirit, who would lead us into all Truth. Read the book of Ephesians in the Bible and put on the whole armour of God each day, and read God's Word each day, and you will have God's power helping you, and God will Will and work for His good pleasure through you to accomplish His plans and purposes for your life, and for others around you.

This is my husband and I's wedding song...I had another song picked out, but we were in the car and this song came on and I had never heard it before...In that moment, I felt the Holy Spirit ran and pour down so intensely upon me and I sat there crying my eyes out. I knew that this was meant to be our song. We both survived so much adversity, suffering and darkness from the abuse we each came from...when we found each other we were so broken...and together, we sought help and sought Jesus and it is a miracle we are alive today, happy and new...the way we witnessed our Good Lord move and reach down and pull us out of the darkness...there are no words. Lord, I will praise your name forever!! Never give up, no matter where you come from, even the most tragic stories can be made victorious through Jesus Christ.
When you are born again , you are able to see God in a different way and see all the times HE saved you from harm and danger. I was born again May 16, 1999 at the Worthship Center in Houston , Texas at the age of of 55 . I had been going to church for many many years however I only knew of Jesus and never knew HIM as my Savior.

After 5yrs of serving God I thought I found myself in a stable phase of my life. im young and felt confident about what I had. All of a sudden I lost everything, school, boyfriend, job, my family, all but my faith. God has restored me he has healed me and shown me how i needed to lose everything in order to regain only what he desired for me. he has saved my soul. i give him praise in the good and in the bad. I truely believe God seeks my happiness. God forgives me. GOd is love and compassion!!

Scot, you are in a good place brother. Anytime that I've found myself in that same place God always comes through and He becomes my everything. We don't want to be in control but need to allow Him to have His way. There's no magic formula, but just an honest heart. He's your father and will do it! I'll be praying for you brother.
Scot Michael I was lost for many years and addicted to drug lead singer in a rock band riding with a motorcycle gang it seemed hopeless then I ask God for forgiveness then two weeks ago on Sunday was baptized & brother my life wasn't falling apart it was falling into place , just ask him he will hear you , dear heavenly Father give Scot the strength his is seeking help him to have his heart filled with your love & to become the man you need him to be help heal his heart and rejoice in your love in Jesus name amen.

I just imagine Jesus smiling with his hand held out after I fell down and he said lets get up and walk together again, as we walk down the road he swings his arms around me and just loves me and I love him for his grace and mercy to never leave me on the ground, praise the lord his love endures forever. Jesus is so good and mighty to save. We are so blessed that we have a god that is known for favoring the outcast and the troubled people. That's what makes his indescribable love he has for us so amazing. He can take an impossibly broken situation and just one look in our direction from his favor can turn darkness into light. Ask and you shall receive says the lord. So ask for wisdom, favor, and to be used for his purposes. Stuff like that, things that are praise worthy in heaven

I came from a broken home. My mom got married 9 times from the time I was born until I turned 17. She married alcoholics and violent men. I’m now 42 and with God and my steel resolve I’ve kept the promise that I would never be like my mom or any of the guys she married. I’m a family man and never cheated on my wife nor have I ever touched a drop of boos. This song reminds me of the promise I made to God back then when I said enough was enough.
