a month of basically murloc only videos, before that 2 months of nothing but demons
Also even in this video he was trying to force Murlocs the entire game.
It’s the subtleties you don’t normally think of or attempt to try...
Problem is that battle grounds hasn't changed much in a while. First goal he had was to get high rank because no one cares to watch low ranked so demons was only option. Second after he was high enough murlocs is just so much fun because of the risk reward. Then having room to try creative things is limiited without getting rocked so games like this are rare.
Finding =/= searching btw.
@@ashaf3561 I do think it needs some kind of big overhaul. Not just a couple buffs/nerfs and a new hero. I'd love to see like a 50% full rotation of minions. Like remove Murlocs completely, along with loads of the problematic or overused cards from other tribes, add Elementals, maybe Dragons finally, along with more interesting cards. I;d love to see Gastropod get added for example. Maybe as a 4*. Since a 1/2 taunt/Poison for beast would be a great option to have, or like more magnetic cards for Mechs while removing Cobalt Guardian etc. try to push the Junkbot Mech builds which have been trash for so long.

An inreresting build to say the least. The Brann strongshell protector realy helped. Surprised that there isn’t a taunt build yet.

Since Amalgam went out, The stats of menagerie don't scale fast enough so i can see why he'd ignore that option.
Without a triple into lightfang on 4 menagerie is just too hard to pull off while still requiring a couple of of other build arounds
@@Disappointed_Philosoraptor I know that menagerie is not a super consistent way to win, but since Kripp is trying odd things and he is a very good player, it was weird to me that he didn't take the Lightfang. Also, he did an video some days ago in which said that he was trying for a menagerie build, but didn't find Enforcer, and won anyway; compared to the final build of this video, it wouldn't be that different.

Hearthstone sound gets WEIRD
Demon/Mech Deathrattles seems pretty decent. Didn't even go off particularly well, as the build itself wasn't exactly planned.

I had a weird first place build myself recently. I got an early Lightfang with Zerus and already had a mix of everything because I was on Tier 4 and not knowing where I was going with my build. Got a Triple on a Tidecaller into a second Lightfang. Rolled a few times and landed on a Hydra. 3 of the minions I ended up keeping were Tier 1 & 2 minions (Tidecaller, 2/4 Demon Taunt, and a Zoobot). I buffed them with my early Lightfang so I rolled with them instead of starting over with a better minion of that type. So anyway, I got to 5 and I'm staring at 2 Argus and a Strongshell Scavenger. So I Taunted everything and just ended up grabbing all the Strongshell Scavengers I could get with any individual tribal buffs. I got a Brann once I hit Top 4 and got rid of 1 of my Lightfang's. Needless to say, I was pretty strong and nobody even came close to beating me. So apparently, Menagerie Taunt builds are also a thing. lol.

How isn't the build a misfit? Obviously it wasn't demons or murlocs. Mechs implies cobalt and refreshers, deathrattles would have the bombs and menagerie would include a giant hydra. His build was a mix of all of those without being any of them

This is kind of the only build I know how to play consistently. You don't get locked into a strategy and just roll ten times and watch rng make the turn no fun... Always something to do, but not always first place.
At 8:30 the cleave hit the imprisoner, but the crystalweaver was what got stolen?
Finally some nonmurloc content
While I was watching this video I got 1st place with a golden fiendish servant/ righteous protector deathrattle build using cleaves. Most fun build I've ever done

here's a weird build that you haven't really seen before and probably won't work unless stars align ... gets rafaam at hero pick. ALRIGHT
I believe the technical term for this kind of build is "Mono-decent"

mostly, yes... but you dont play fiendish servant in a mech build either. Still, not exactly as misfit as he described at the end, but the journey wasn't as clear cut

I do this with Tirion sometimes. There are a few good neutral minions in the late game that nobody takes so you can triple them

I feel like the game would be more fun if all matches were like this. Comps should be wild and unpredictable. Having tribes and a meta makes the game really stale really quickly.
