I recall seeing this movie when I was 22, that was back in 1987. I just bought this on dvd and it is still one of my favorites from the 80s. I am 52 and love 80's movies. This is a classic. Michael J. Fox is awesome!
I grew up in the 80's and remember seeing this in the theaters when I was about 11 years old. Michael J. Fox was my favorite actor. I also loved the band Chicago which David Foster produced and wrote for so this movie combined my favorite actor with some sweet, sweet (albeit cheesy) Foster music made me very happy.
Such a fantastic song. I remember spending hours recording track by track on my Yamaha QX-21 trying to replicate this w/ my JX-8P, TX-81Z, and DX-7. It was a great time to be a teenager.
The sensations, the feelings that this movie sends is so unique, the music...all gets better with time... people also get to repent for their criticts i hope
When I was still teens, just enjoyed myself to see pictured romance in this movie situated in the Manhattan Island in N.Y. I bit dreamed to visit there someday. While listening this BGM, Gazebo, I found myself in those old pleasurable but innocent memories, they are still lively as movie seanes of yesterday. On those days "The Secret Of My Success" was aired on movie theaters in my country, Japan, I never imagined that WTC #1, #2 and M. J Fox were all gone later, provably everyone including me never imagined such a future result waiting us, didn't you?
nice memory bro :) Luckily Michael J Fox isn't gone just yet, hopefully he'll be around for many many years to come (one of my favorite actors). He doesn't do much acting anymore, so in this sense he isn't what he used to be. Anyway may the force be with him...and with YOU :) Cheers
I just watched this movie and absolutely love the sound track. The movie is my new favorite. This is way better than the modern CGI movies!!! We need more movies like this!!!
Well, let's just go to an upstate garden party in smart casual attire, swoon the big wigs and capture the heart of THE girl...yup I'm all in.. Who's with me? #80's dream. Xxx
Late 70s all the 80s and early 90s nothing better then that. 50s and 60s generation will say the same about there time. It just goes to show how shitty, sad and pathetic the 2000s are.😢😢
One of the best soundtracks of the 80's if not one of the best of all time.
I do totally agree with you ❤️
Utterly definitive
Just watched this movie for the first time tonight. And I’ve seen my fair share of 80’s movies. Yet I wholeheartedly have to agree
I utterly love this movie and all its soundtracks 😊
I think it ties with Fosters soundtrack from St Elmo’s Fire

This is quintessential 80's, I never get tired of this film, super nostalgic and awesome!
I think David Foster is a true artist.
This piece, along with the "water fountain" by David Foster is my favorite soundtrack.. brings back such wonderful memories ☺ I miss the 80s
Secret of my success was the pinnacle for David Foster.. Amazing Rhythm and unsurpassed rhythmic beats
I love this melody. David Foster guided Peter Cetera and Chicago. He also did a similar melody for St. Elmo’s Fire. I miss my childhood.
Yeah me too

I think of my dad with this music . How he was behind everything good I’ve ever done.

Director Herbert Ross was like, "Foster, gimmie that St. Elmo's sound."
I love the music from this film, I'm hoping I'll get it for Christmas
did you?
This is my all time favorite~~!
The Secret Of My Modern Success will be reliving the 80s forever!!!
this was the closing for WBKO 13 in Bowling Green KY from about 1987/88-93 : )
love this Gazebo instrument by DF
Great song and part in the movie! D F is good and this is when MJF was big in movie making!
This is a Success.
Legendaris instrumental pianist music by using genius intelegencial brain mindset... Applause for david foster is canadian.
This instrumental sounds extremely similar to The Love Theme from St. Elmo’s Fire. That can’t be a coincidence!

Otra obra maestra del Gran David Foster
