Hello ladies, My advice is after waxing, always (morning and evening) hydrate your skin very well using a very thick cream (like the one from Nivea or similar) + shea butter. Also use a glycolic acid tonic (like the one from The Ordinary) in the evening before going to sleep, and do a peeling mask (like the charcoal one) at least twice a week in the area where you have hair. I assure you it makes a difference. Doing so has helped me fight ingrown hairs and dark spots. The skin must be soft and supple so that the hair can come out well without problems.
Me too. I get a little bump when the hair is growing in & I can't help but digging in to find the head of the hair & obsessing over grabbing it no matter how small it is.
I know your videos are for educational purposes but i honestly watch cause i find them so soothing and to see the difference in before and after is so satisfying
Lmfao yes it is definitely an impulse, I can’t help myself when I feel a hair I have to tweeze it or I’ll go crazy!! I love the informative narrating with the video.
My grandma does that lol. She literally disappears during family get togethers and you’ll find her plucking in her magnified mirror lol. She’s 81 and still wears heels.
Thanks to both of you for sharing something a lot of us ladies can relate to. I keep tweezers in my purse at all times. I don't want to tweezers, but... I do still wear my mask everywhere I go because I don't wax or remove my face issues on routine. The skin is better when I don't remove my issue. However, I really don't want it. I want to just get up and go.
The "Finishing Touch FLAWLESS" hair remover is a game changer and I recommend it a lot. It takes like a minute to use, doesn't hurt, and is only the size of a tube of lipstick. I love mine so much. Best $15 I ever spent.
Omg as a 31 yr old fine waxer and tweezer I enjoyed this and even you understanding how we feel about the stubbles! I would pay anyone extra or a nice tip for going in tweezing to make sure I’m straight ❤
I learned how to wax properly since I have hirsutism. I knew that if I didn’t do it correctly it wouldn’t turn out well. If you’re struggling with PCOS that is causing Hirsutism, try Inositol. Ask your doctor first! I bought a cheap wax warmer that came with wax. The wax it came with was crap so I threw it out. I buy wax at Sally’s beauty supply, and as time has gone on I do not have to wax as frequently and the hairs have gotten thinner and less stubbly. I never tweeze or shave it, not since I learned that it causes the hair to be worse! If I can do this I truly think anyone else can too! I know how embarrassing it can be, but learning to do this was a great way to make me feel better about myself. Good luck to you all!
After I wax and/or tweeze at home, I apply unscented Vaseline to the area. It creates a barrier limiting exposure to bacteria that maybe floating in the air. It helps prevent infections (breakouts). Hope this helps! 😊
These videos are so important for other women to see. You're not alone and honestly it would probably be more strange if you didnt get chin hairs. We get our periods, carry children then get chin hairs. God must have been in a joking mood when he made us.

@lorenar3892 I be in the sun before my sessions, but once I started my sessions I make sure I use sunscreen daily. And what I thought was hyperpigmentation was actually ingrown hairs.
I used to tweeze my mom's chin for her when I was a kid. When mine started growing at 11 I was already a pro. I definitely had the compulsion to tweeze and wouldn't let my mom even do her chin because she was "doing it wrong" I had an arsenal of tweezers for every kind of roadblock. If I felt the slightest hair I was going for it. I could tell a good tweezer from a bad one just by looking at it and would save money for good ones to make my life easier. I'm so glad I don't worry about that anymore.
@E V is free I laser now. I still get hair after a few months when im not consistent but I don't have to do hair removal as often. I also haven't had a hair bump in years. Even if I have a little hair not having those terrible hair bumps makes it worth it. Laser was the best thing I could do for my confidence eventually I'll switch to electrolysis.

Great job and your right soon as i fell a hair i have to tweeze. Mines hurt bad under the skin and when i remove the hair it is such relief. (My hair grows sharp and very straight)
The silver lining of Covid were the masks. Since we had to be covered anyway I didn't tweeze any chin hairs to assess what I was REALLY dealing with (I used to get a hair here and there but since I simply would pull it immediately I never knew the real extent) well let me tell you I had a goatee after 6 months of not touching it. I'm 44 and grays starting, last thing I want in my old age is a beard, I RAN to the lazer and don't even think about those or most facial or public hair anymore.
I only get like 2 or hairs in the same place every week, and I get obsessed with tweezing them. If i am somewhere like work and i feel that prickly feel of a hair growing, I sit there and pick with it all day and search frantically for the tweezers when i get home.
And the laser doesn’t detect grays 😢. I also noticed when I went back to do laser I must have woken up some dormant follicles because I now have a surge of gray hairs that are even more stubborn, noticeable and prickly 😢😢
Hormonal imbalance is the problem bere, as in most cases. Change your diet. When tweezing people just snatch the hairs and they're not supposed to. You have to gently pull them out and you would see a white bud on the end that came out. That's how you know you're tweezing correctly. I have 6 hairs under my chin that I tweeze and I think I just going to get laser removal for those 6 hairs. This could also be a health issue with their hormone level and thyroid levels.
When I waxed (professionally), my follicles were so inflamed. I developed hyperpigmentation in the area and it looked worse than when I shaved. I just decided to fork over the money for laser hair removal. Thankfully the area is fading now.
I have used an EPILATOR FOR YEARS! with EXCELLENT results. The hair comes back thinner/ finer. My skin is not Burned/ Damaged from waxing. It can cause hyperpigmentation, scarring, etc.. Invest in a good epilator; you will be glad you did.
I also have had a bad experience with Nair. I burned and scarred my neck. I have been wearing makeup and taking measures to repair my skin but..... It's a sad lesson learned. Waxing/ laser may be my only option because skin damage (scabs, rough & dark skin) is just as disfiguring as hair.
I’ve tried laser hair removal and it seemed to make things worse. It also doesn’t work on white hairs (that’s what the technician told me). That’s what I liked about having to mask.
Ladies spearmint tea helps facial hair growth. I've been using monistat 7 on mi face and acv soaks and the hair falls out completely. I'm on day 4 and mi chin hair is almost gone. Plus mi skin is smoother than it was.
I was thinking about scheduling for laser treatment because I’m really tired of tweezing facial hair. And after two weeks I’ll have to go back and tweeze again.
I've been considering tweezing because there's no one available to wax my facial hair. But after watching this very informative video, I'm definitely not going to😂
It took me 6 years to get rid of my hair. I did electrolysis and have taken metformin to keep the hair growth dormant. Metformin topical is known to grow hair for alopecia sufferers.
@@monicatalinah2636Hey, look into Inositol and Berberine. They’re natural alternatives to metformin. If you’re on any medication, please speak with your doctor just to make sure it’s safe for you.
My people are in these comments! Happy to see this is a safe space. The first and only time i went to get my hair tweezed, they had no idea what they were doing, I left feeling like i got a bunch of sticky stuff on my chin. You really need someone who knows what they are doing for the best results.
I shave mine 5 times before tweezing, cause I've noticed that too when tweezing too often, so the hair gets time to grow thicker therefore stronger, it works wonders, cause my skin too sensitive for waxing
@thetruequeen6747 yes it does and that's the point, so the hair can grow thick and strong, otherwise it will break when tweezing, I usually shave 4-5 times before tweezing
If you have dark hair I recommend laser. It’s not for everyone but it works wonders! When you are a woman and you grow chin hair it’s extremely embarrassing having to wait for it to grow out.
I started tweezing my unibrow in sixth grade… so I started In around 1999 and when I pull this little speck it has a root that is huge!!! What a daily battle I’ve been in since then. As a guy it’s hard to go to a salon to get help.
Im a pretty obsessive tweezer but i do all i can to make sure i get hair from the root. I did get facial waxes for almost a year and i know i need to start going again!
Thankfully, I've never had this problem - I can imagine how difficult it must be (but, I guess I can't really know!) I wanted to say it's really nice to listen to someone who takes real pride in their work - doesn't matter what work, but especially when dealing with people and something they may be uncomfortable about. It's always a pleasure to see someone take pride in their work and do it well!☺️👏
It’s crazy that this was recommended to me the day after I tweezed my lil beard lol. I’ve always had stubborn facial hair growth since I was a teen so whenever I do tweeze, I always do my best to remove the lil root bastards as easily as I can 😂 I can’t wait to be able to have an experience like this
I have been tweezing and epilating my chin and upper lip for years and i have no skin damage. I am very careful with it and no one would ever guess i have a problem.
I really need to get waxed then. I grow hair under my chin and on my upper lip. I honestly hate it. Shaving gave me raised bumps and hyperpigmentation, and now I see what years of tweezing can do. It just makes me a little sad, I had an ex who used to mock me for it. I can’t help it.
What's the best wax to use for the chin/face or coarse hair also for bikini and Brazilian wax? You mentioned that your using your own wax? Do you sell it?
You have to get rid of the hair permanently first (laser or electrolysis). Once the hair is gone you need to get a good skin care routine that includes exfoliating and brightening ingredients to gradually heal the skin.
Omg! I have started tweezing. I got a sugar wax and after I got a lot of large hair bumps so after the 2nd waxing it got worst. I then started tweezing feeling it was better than shaving but unfortunately I have a FULL BEARD and it's totally embarrassing.
I can’t wait for my hair to grow long enough to wax. My hair grows fast, dark, and thick. After 2 days of growth my skin starts getting irritated and I shave or tweeze it. 😫
Honestly, there’s hardly anything that really works to completely remove the dark skin. I have this problem and have purchased many different products that said they would work but didn’t. If anybody has this skin darkening issue and was able to discover something that did work. Please let us know.
It's been a great year coming in contact with Dr Isibor on youtube, finally overcame facial hair growth and balance hormones with natural Herbal medicine
This video was in my recommendation. I have PCOS and I am quite knowledgeable on the topic so I was interested in what you had to say. Honestly, this is misleading. If you have PCOS with hirsutism, work on diet and exercise to avoid this much hair growth. When I lost 100lbs, my facial hair reduced 80%. My hair is nowhere near what it used to be on unwanted locations. If you have this much growth, waxing and tweezing both limit your options if you plan to get electrolysis. So, please know this ahead of time. If you want advice on PCOS I am over in my little space. I have lost 100LBS, reversed most of my symptoms and I rarely get facial hair. I NEVER had full face waxing, laser or electrolysis because I focused on hormone balancing first. If you have PCOS remember my channel name, I will have the biggest PCOS playlist on RUclips eventually to challenge misinformation like this.
Do you know how hard it is to let your facial hair grow out? 😢 I really hate tweezing but dam it’s embarrassing going out with dark facial hair.

I do tweeze but i wait until a considerable length before i do and i try not to let break while doing so.
Thank goodness for laser hair removal! I used to have patches of ingrown hairs and now nothing. Its worth it especially for us thicker haired people.
Laser is much better. No more bumps. Discoloration clearing up. Just much better!!
Laser changed my life ! I thank god for the means to be able to afford it 🙏🏾
@@Tiffany.B.How much is it around for the chin area?
Your wax product works well. Salute to you
I wish someone told me how bad tweezing damages the skin. How showed me how to properly tweeze and remove hair. It would’ve saved me so much scarring.
I’ve tried laser hair removal and it seemed to make things worse. It also doesn’t work on white hairs (that’s what the technician told me). That’s what I liked about having to mask.
Electrolysis
Liked that too 😅
Ladies spearmint tea helps facial hair growth. I've been using monistat 7 on mi face and acv soaks and the hair falls out completely. I'm on day 4 and mi chin hair is almost gone. Plus mi skin is smoother than it was.
What’s making the hairs fall out the Spearmint Tea or ACV?
I was thinking about scheduling for laser treatment because I’m really tired of tweezing facial hair. And after two weeks I’ll have to go back and tweeze again.
God bless you for caring!!
This is so satisfying to watch lol
I dont think waxing is that good either. I wish women didnt have to do any of this.
There are worse things we go through.
Me too,but I'm not keen on walking around with a beard.Though yeah, there are worse things to deal with.
I've been considering tweezing because there's no one available to wax my facial hair. But after watching this very informative video, I'm definitely not going to😂
Found a Natural Herbal product on youtube Doctor Isibor Herbal cleanser stopped my chin hairs from growing back and removed it completely
Thank you for letting us watch and learn.
It took me 6 years to get rid of my hair. I did electrolysis and have taken metformin to keep the hair growth dormant. Metformin topical is known to grow hair for alopecia sufferers.
What 😮can I crush some pills to make a paste? 😂
I feel u swil, and the medication is expensive
@@MissyATX😅
@@monicatalinah2636Hey, look into Inositol and Berberine. They’re natural alternatives to metformin. If you’re on any medication, please speak with your doctor just to make sure it’s safe for you.
Great job! The tutorial is very well done.
My people are in these comments! Happy to see this is a safe space.
The first and only time i went to get my hair tweezed, they had no idea what they were doing, I left feeling like i got a bunch of sticky stuff on my chin. You really need someone who knows what they are doing for the best results.
I agree and yess always try to make this a safe space for sharing
This is a safe judgement free zone
I love this ANGLE !!!!! Im addicted to using my tweezers it’s my VICE 😢😮😮😮😮
When u show the Hair on the wax it gives me chills. I must have a new phobia "Prickly Hair on Wax"
I love your tiktok videos. Seems you have made you way to my discover page on RUclips. Great work! 😊
What is done about the hyperpigmentation?
I shave mine 5 times before tweezing, cause I've noticed that too when tweezing too often, so the hair gets time to grow thicker therefore stronger, it works wonders, cause my skin too sensitive for waxing
I am afraid of shaving cause I think this will really cause my hair to grow even faster and thicker omg I don’t want that.
@thetruequeen6747 yes it does and that's the point, so the hair can grow thick and strong, otherwise it will break when tweezing, I usually shave 4-5 times before tweezing
How do you avoid the scars on the chin ?
When tweezering try not to pinch the skin.
Wow such a great wax! Also very educational, thank you for sharing. 😊
So if we are to stop tweezing, what should we do instead?
in reality nothing helps
I’ve always had stubborn facial hair growth since I was a teen so whenever I do tweeze, I always do my best to remove the lil root bastards as easily as I can 😂 I can’t wait to be able to have an experience like this
What can be done about the black bumpy area of the chin when the hair is removed?
Exfoliation and sun protection!
Vanilla extract
I have been tweezing and epilating my chin and upper lip for years and i have no skin damage. I am very careful with it and no one would ever guess i have a problem.
So what can be done. The hairs even with a little length just snap off and now are starting to become ingrowns. How do I stop the cycle?
Finalllyyyyyyy something i can relate too.
I have tweezers eveywhere
I really need to get waxed then.
I grow hair under my chin and on my upper lip. I honestly hate it.
Shaving gave me raised bumps and hyperpigmentation, and now I see what years of tweezing can do.
It just makes me a little sad, I had an ex who used to mock me for it. I can’t help it.
I get mine waxed and it gets harder
I'm glad the person who mocked you is an "ex." Keep your chin up and ignore/avoid those who aren't helping to uplift you...⚘️
What's the best wax to use for the chin/face or coarse hair also for bikini and Brazilian wax? You mentioned that your using your own wax? Do you sell it?
what are all the dark spots? scars from hair removals or ingrown hairs?
What can you do about the texture of the skin to get rid of the roughness?
That's what I'm searching for
You have to get rid of the hair permanently first (laser or electrolysis). Once the hair is gone you need to get a good skin care routine that includes exfoliating and brightening ingredients to gradually heal the skin.
Ipl and vitamin e
Tea Tree oil and aloe Vera may help
Thanks for tips, I butcher up my chin weekly because of dark hairs and get some ingrowns, I will try to be more careful with my skin
Omg! I have started tweezing. I got a sugar wax and after I got a lot of large hair bumps so after the 2nd waxing it got worst. I then started tweezing feeling it was better than shaving but unfortunately I have a FULL BEARD and it's totally embarrassing.
So the wax didn't help? Have you looked into possibly laser hair removal? I have a beard too it's superrrrrrr embarrassing
@@AllOfKee unfortunately for me lasering will only work on the black hairs
@@Tricee2000 that def sucks 😕 😪
I use a facial razor and just exfoliate and moisturize afterwards. I've found that works best for me
@@user-tb3es9yd5z I hope this don't sound crazy but what exactly is a facial razor?
Please educate about electrolysis and laser. The more you wax and tweeze, the more ingrown hairs, skin discoloration, and stronger roots on the hairs.
My vice is not wanting people to see the hairs 🫣 so I have to tweeze them 😢
I love learning from your channel 😊
This may be a silly question... Does threading break the hair like tweezing
I want to know the same
I can’t wait for my hair to grow long enough to wax. My hair grows fast, dark, and thick. After 2 days of growth my skin starts getting irritated and I shave or tweeze it. 😫
This is so satisfying
What can can you use for the pigment under her chin to make it lighter ?
Honestly, there’s hardly anything that really works to completely remove the dark skin. I have this problem and have purchased many different products that said they would work but didn’t. If anybody has this skin darkening issue and was able to discover something that did work. Please let us know.
I learned a lot watching this thank you for making this video 😊
It’s so hard not to tweeze in between waxes!! The ingrown hairs cause painful/uncomfortable bumps !! Any suggestions??
Shave, don't pluck or wax. It is so much gentler!
Also try tendskin for ingrown hairs
Don’t mind me just breaking my neck trying to tweeze this one grain under my neck and watching this video lol
Girl 😭
Oml don't expose me right there 😭
You did such a great job!💜
I love how the thumbnail says dont use tweezers and then she ends up using tweezers
All waxers use tweezers at the end to get all the left over bits of hair that the wax can’t get so that doesn’t count lol
@@shxdow9807 it does though
well she has to get all the hair. she couldn’t get it by waxing and she doesn’t have a laser.
Right, I thought the same. And this persons pores are in bad shape
This person skin looks terrible. Tweezing does not leave your skin dark like this
Is there a solution for damaged skin due to tweezing of facial hair. The area where I have tweezed some hair has turned into a dark patch
It's been a great year coming in contact with Dr Isibor on youtube, finally overcame facial hair growth and balance hormones with natural Herbal medicine
Yes I have this same issues I been doing chemical peels and using kojie soap
That's my goal to lose 100lbs. I hope it helps to reduce hair for me!!
I just subscribed to your page, sis. PCOS has been heck on me with this facial hair on the left side of my chin and jaw! 😢
Thank you for this information. It made a lot make sense when I wax. I want to try your wax, so that will be on my next good check.
I love your videos!!!
Thank you
Great video. I love your technique
Thanks
Do the clients ever discuss if they're on hormone therapy? Bc I know some ladies like this & though the hormones don't fix everything they def help.
I don't believe any of my clients are on hormone therapy
