ohhh that would make a lot of sense! Since it's my first time really listening and exploring the Kpop world I don't know what constitutes something as Kpop as opposed to another genre but yeah I agree these songs are totally pop rock!
Sorry to be offtopic but does someone know of a tool to log back into an Instagram account? I stupidly lost the account password. I appreciate any help you can give me.
@Coleman Warren Thanks for your reply. I got to the site through google and Im in the hacking process now. Seems to take a while so I will get back to you later with my results.
Rosé said that on the ground is actually about how you try to reach out to your goals and do everything in order to achieve it but then what you actually need is already within you. That is why during the bridge, there was a scene where there are 2 of her and it is picturing her present self going back to her old house and remembering all the memories of her past self and actually missing her past
Thank you so much for reacting to Rosé! Please check out her group next? They're BLACKPINK and they recently released an album entitled "The Album". Thank you so much!
This two songs of Rosé are incredible !!! I love both songs. Also, I recommend you to react "How you like that" by BLACKPINK, which is totally different.
Kill this love, how you like that, ice cream(with Selena Gomez) all killer songs by blackpink... also dudu dudu, lovesick girls, boombaya, stay, as if it's your last, playing with fire and whistle. Blackpink has also collaborated with Cardi b, Lady Gaga and Dua Lipa. Not to mention covers... and songs without vids like kick it, forever young, dnt know what to do, see you later and really. Not including their rest of their album, the album which includes pretty savage, crazy over you, you never know and love to hate me.
Just my opinion, but I think the message on the stairs is one of the images in the video that show that success/fame is not all it is cracked up to be. While she is on the stairway up, living a glamorous life (7 of her, even) then "Roses are Dead, Love is Fake". The video starts with a meteor (falling star), which eventually burns the limo. The theater with shows daily has a Closed sign. The chandelier falls. She writes Rosé on the mirror, but when the mirror says Roseanne (her original English name), the mirror is empty. Love goes up in flames while she is on the swing. As the lyrics say, "gold is plastic". On the other hand, at the end after she has come to the realization of what is important, she is surrounded by a field of roses. She still rises up, but is surrounded by what matters and doesn't leave it.
this is an amazing explanation!! You picked up on so many things that I would have never thought twice about! I totally see everything you said, thanks for the explanation!
Thanks for your reaction. Love Rose. But, IMO, these songs are not kpop, but these really reflect who Rose is, a cool indie music chic with talent galore that is combination Taylor Swift/Avril Lavigne. You want kpop, go see her in Blackpink's Ddu du ddu du video (1.5 billion views). Then decide if Blackpink is for you. Blackpink is definitely for me, I also love BTS, but I am not sure about the rest of kpop. Like Eminem, Taylor Swift and Billie Eilish, I can love their music without being in love with the rest of American pop/folk/indie/rap music.
Oh I totally understand how these songs aren't Kpop even though she is definitely a big part of the Kpop world. Rosé is so versatile and hopefully I'll be able to check out Blackpink and other Kpop groups. Thanks for the comment!
@@victoriasreactions3733 hey victoria, So this is basically your blind reaction to Kpop huhh, well it seems you just starting to get open the door of your Kpop journey brother. Here i'm as your new subs and welcome to BLACKPINK's universe. As a starter lemme just say thank you so much for wanting to listening to Kpop though it might be not your typical consumption and as others says in their comment, both of Rosé's songs on her first ever solo album weren't really like the usual typical Kpop or BLACKPINK's sounds in general, but depends on a few of certain perspectives, afterall both of those songs can still be categorized as a Kpop song. Then, there's several things that you should keep it mind before continuing your journey to Kpop world as a whole thing. First of all Kpop can't really described as a single genre but more like a major culturization of music. In the future you gonna find that mostly in the current Kpop songs nowadays especially from the groups (male/female), you would see that their songs almost or always gonna involving so many genres which is somehow uniquely blended well together and in the of their production, the final outcomes normally will be turned into a song which has that fushion-type of sound. Secondly, BLACKPINK's music is massively known as a very diverse sounds, which is usually in any details within their production it's always well-crafted and purposely made lika that to be a fittin concept based on their bandname. Also for the most of it (especially the edgy "BLACK" side of their discography), even within the Kpop industry itself BLACKPINK's overall sound always strongly felt like a quite distinc comparing to the groups as well. So later on it won't be that much surprising for us to seeing you find it hard to like their music right from the get go, us as BLINKS (BLACKPINK's fandom name) already knew and fully aware that BLACKPINK's music will definitely challenging your comfort zone, it's gonna be testing your personal taste, and their music also potentially gonna ruin current expectation toward Kpop, and sometimes we as fans also saw many newcomers whose have a weird prejudice toward Kpop become more curious about it. So yeah, in my opinion without a doubt BLACKPINK's music is something that highly possible to making you genuinely wanna learn their music in deeper context or at the end of the day it's also can be just gonna end up casually for a short temporary reaction only. and for an artistic work, though each of BP member still actively works as a group, in this case their company YG Entertainment have a special term for all of their artists. Thankfully for a several periode of time, YGE seems more often to let their artists to have their own soloist stuff especially whenever they wanna make their own solo project apart from group's production. That term alone enough to allowed each of BP members to be free and making their own siganture-vibe apart from their casual main role as BLACKPINK, so in a shorter conclusion we also can says that either it's from back then and later on in the future, their solo project will always very versatile, very distinc to each other out of the context as a group and more of it. Last but not least, in my opinion to get a proper first impression of the diversity of BLACKPINK's music then here's a few sample of recommendations that could give you an earlier clue/hint about the meaning of their bandname or their concept as a group: (note: just skip it right away if you bychance you already see the MV or listening these following song in your off-time camera) - more to BLACK SIDE: "Ddu-Ddu-Du-Ddu" or "How You Like That" - more to PINK SIDE: "WHISTLE" or "AS IF IT'S YOUR LAST" - samples of combination for both BLACK and their PINK side: "LOVESICK GIRLS" or "STAY"

4. A remix song in 2017 by THE BLACK LABEL called "SO HOT" (YGE as BLACKPINK's main HQ has a sub-unit company named TBL/THE BLACK LABEL). For this particular song i'm not that sure if this counted as BLACKPINK's song or not at all because it's originally sang by other girlgroup named "Wonder Girls". But for me personally these version was better and it's more preferable for a lot of people actually.

7. JENNIE - SOLO in 2018 (it's the first solo debut by one of BLACKPINK's members, yeah the song's title also literally called 'SOLO', so you dont have to be confused about that one simplistic song's tittle...😂
- JENNIE - SOLO (ruclips.net/video/b73BI9eUkjM/видео.html)
8. 4th mini album: KILL THIS LOVE ALBUM 2019 (KILL THIS LOVE, DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO, KICK IT, HOPE NOT) from all of those tracks only "Kill This Love" which has an Official MV/Music Video and for rest of the b-sides tracks you just need the same way as i've been mentioned beforehand which is using color coded lyrics.

Color Coded Lyrics version from 2 youtube chanels, (Dont Know What To Do/Kick it from 'Jaeguchi') and (Hope Not from '

10. THE ALBUM, this is pretty much was BLACKPINK first full-lenght album in 2020 after back then 4 years ago they've been showcased as one of the new 3rd-gen Kpop girlgroup. This album incorporate 8 tracks in total which have 3 songs with an Official MV/Music Video (HOW YOU LIKE THAT, ICE CREAM ft. Selena Gomez, LOVESICK GIRLS) and 5 songs with no music video (PRETTY SAVAGE, BET YOU WANNA ft. Cardi B., CRAZY OVER YOU, LOVE TO HATE ME, YOU NEVER KNOW), for the rest of b-sides which didn't have an official MV like what i've said in earlier you could also use the color coded lyrics, here's the links:

11. - R - . If you ever wondered what i mean by those unique tittle of an album, then you just need to learn that these "- R -" is literally the actual name of an album by one of BLACKPINK's members which is Rose. This album is basically her first ever solo project as the main vocalist of BLACKPINK and there's 4 tracks in it (The first one which called "ONTHE GROUND" is tittle track, the second one which called "GONE" is the b-side and the other two is the 'instrument-only' type of track for both "ON THE GROUND" and "GONE"). For now "ON THE GROUND" is the only one which has an official MV into it and for "GONE" it's still completely unclear wether it's gonna get a music video or not all.
- ON THE GROUND (ruclips.net/video/CKZvWhCqx1s/видео.html)
and for "GONE", as usual you can also use a Color Coded Lyrics version from a youtube chanel named 'Jaeguchi'
- GONE (ruclips.net/video/O2S-Vm-fNrw/видео.html)
You scould try a live version of let it be whit Rose to . I cryed
