GREAT SONG AND VERY UNDERRATED BAND
Yes they were underrated.
I agree very underrated
Great song
his way of doing vocals and the bluesy hints of the guitars made this my favorite band of that era
My fav underrated band . It’s awesome to see them out there still doing gigs and delivering great shows . Power to the P_ssy
Dive into Faster Pussycat and you quickly realize this is clearly the most underrated rock band of all time. Hit after hit after hit after hit …. the shear number of amazing singles is staggering.
Them & W.a.s.p. for sure. People saying they are trash have too rigid expectations or something, idk
dude- the whole scene- them, white lion, warrant etc
Absolutely agree
I can still remember being a long haired kid in High School and being told i would always be a loser and never amount to nothing and the world would spit me out. To them i say a big FU . I never stopped believing In myself and decades later im doing alright i still got my girl and I still got my guitars and i love this music . I hope all the other kids that were like me are ok to.
fuck yea bro!!! our haters fat balding wearing khaki cargo shorts- fuck them- metal kicked their ass
I was crazy about Faster Pussycat back in high school. Unfortunately, I was alone (story of my life). Nobody else got into them. Same with Hanoi Rocks, Black n Blue, House Of Lords, LA Guns, Lillian Axe....the list goes on.
On the boulevard of broken dreams
Vain
@@therock1609 One of My Favorites. I finally found the cd after searching for years. I freaking love them too
You are not alone on this. Love these bands, too!
Agree sleeper band ,love the style!!!!
this is suprisingly great. I don't know how I missed this band
I've always thought of this song as the "So Long, Been Nice to Know Ya" to the 80's ballads...the nostalgic feel is soul wrenching.
RIP Brett Bradshaw :(
Love Faster Pussycat! Awesome party band! Still playing their music and I'm 61!
Party Band????i think you never read their lyrics, lol you stupid Girly
Love it! 46 here. Kids of this day and age will NEVER know good music!
Dont worry Im 26 and I adore this music well Im not a kid anymore but I am a young woman and I got my music taste from my dad for rock and I love oldies this is the kind of music I love the most, I do not like so much the music nowadays since this music is waaaay much better than the trash that is produced nowadays. Nice to meet you and nice to see the spirit of rock n roll never ages.
@@MarielHn My dad took me to see Ratt and Twisted Sister in ‘84. Always cherished him sharing it with me. It’s been a life long gift that keeps giving. You are blessed as well
HELL YE
Damn bro-its just a tragedy that these mature sounds were going to keep evolving until Seattle heroin came in. Imagine a timeline where Grunge never took off... amazing to think what would have happened.
This song makes me think of the summer of 1992. I had just graduated from high school and was heading off to college. I received a promotional cd of this song in the mail that had 3 different versions of it. The best one is an extended version that has a much longer intro and a portion in the middle where he talks before the guitar solo. Both are missing from this version. Such a fabulous and very underrated band!
The video was on MTV for one or two times in the summer of 92..glad I got to see it :)
my life exactly. I turn 47 next month. I loved the 80's and I still love the 80's . I keep the celebrate life Outlook.. Party.
The extended version would be very cool to hear, like the answering machine recording on Cat Bash... And Mr. Lovedog is Taime's ode to Andrew Wood of Mother Love Bone, thanks for that former Seattleite! Northside, Edmonds, technically outside of Seattle City Limits. TD probably lived/slept in Jet city before dropping down to Sunset Strip Still sing Big Dictionary to each new girlfriend.....................then realize I'm WHIPPED
@@thelawgang SO last century! ;) Whipped came out in 1992: Release date: August 4, 1992 But, yeah, the last straggling remnants of hair metal.
Reminds me of heading off to college too
Extremely underrated
That is a top classic rock song. I think it was simply marketed terribly, should have been a monster smash, I love it, just saying an amazing rock classic.
Love the name!!! LMFAO!!!
You mean to tell me this wasnt a hit????
@@brianfitzsimmons3050 my opinion ,for some reason not marketed well.Great song that should be included in.any list
@@brianfitzsimmons3050 great song, probably the group out of mainstream Classic Rock, that somehow fell through cracks,I hear you it is a classic
@@brianfitzsimmons3050 1992 was the summer of grunge. This song was at least a year too late to be a monster hit, even though it was a great song.
my favorite fp song!!! wish this album got the credit it deserved!
Always a fan since the first album. Such a shame they didn’t make it huge. They should have.
Wake me when it’s over is one of my all time favorite CDs
They were pretty big late 80s there for awhile
@@robertwilson7859mine too! Their debut album kicks Major Ass
I just re-discovered this song. Can't stop listening to it.
Just heard the sad news today, Brett Bradshaw has passed away. Drummer on this excellent song. Rest in peace.
Saddened to hear this 😢😢
I met Brett in ‘92. He was very kind. Very sad news.
RIP 😔

Life on the strip back then would have been epic
I'm an old man that missed this group, but I am feeling my head and my ears up with them now they're absolutely great and terribly underrated
underrated? you definitely missed this group. they were NEVER underrated and this song wasn't either
Same.Found them looking for music to workout too. As good as any band I have ever heard
Reminds me of getting older and having the passions of youth no longer make sense. Part of the journey of life ⭐
shits happening to me know-
Great band !! period, My daughter turned 30 today and she still listens to them 🤟
This song makes me young
Love em' always have, I was a teenager smack dab in the middle of it all, 80's baby all the way
You are not alone, we are all with you ❤❤
Masterpiece
Man I still love this song.
This is the type of fantastic, upbeat tunes that I miss so much from the 80’s-90’s. Youth is so fleeting….
If only i had a crystal ball or could invent a time machine
What a good chorus, fun to sing along!
These guys were into THE MISSION, obvious, awesome unique sound they had.
Based my whole lifestyle on these guys 🤘🏽
Absolute favorite FP song of all. Just awesome!
I miss this song... it's been more than 20 years since i last heard it...
first time hearing this song.... not sure why. it's awesome.
Brent Muscat was the prettiest rock star ever. Yes. I am a male and str8 as an arrow.
This is when music was still good .ive seen 33 concerts from various bands and still never got my fill of it.1980s early 90s always dear to my heart
That crystal ball lied 🤘🏽🤟
This is such an epic song! Makes me miss the early nineties for sure!
This song should have pushed them to the top in the early 90's. All love to Faster Pussycat
M A S T E R P I E C E !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This song sounds a lot more alt rock than hard/"hair" metal/glam!
Love listening to their music to this day they were a great band highly underrated
Underrated band!
If you like this I recommend from the same year The Vibes - Mudslide, Cheap And Nasty - Beautiful Disaster, and Pillbox - Holly. All underrated gems!! I miss the era so much. The gigs where everyone dressed up, the vinyl, the life where people were present in the moment, rather than glued to their phones! Don't get me wrong, this current era has plenty to offer but it's such a different world now.
This is a fantastic, upbeat tune that gets my engine running.
Fasters first 3 albums were magnificent! I love them
Looks like slash took lessons from this lad of a shredder
seen them about 10 times, one of my fave bands, old & new stuff, first time i've seen them play this year on tour at JBs.... it was awesome.....!
my mom loved this song
now I get it
I'm a mom and yeah we wish our kids understood. My sons have slowly come around to my 80's bands.
@@suzannemckoy5069 oh she def raised me with 80s music that I loooved! Dio and Styx , Motley Crue, the Ramones, Rush!! She even got me a Phil Collins CD for my 16th bday hahah!
@@suzannemckoy5069 she was also an alcoholic and now so am I, so this song feels VERY real for us …!
woo they sounded like alternative music
R.I.P. Brett.
Never got into FP till I seen them live. Now I'm finding more songs I like.
Their first album Faster Pussycat was their best IMO.
Sleazy years !!
This song deserves more than ten million views. This is non-stop to nowhere....this new generation 🎷
Awesome band faster pussycat with amazing guitars 🎸 and brilliant drums 🥁 with amazing vocals and fantastic lyrics 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀
I so love this band still
Can’t wait to see them in 2022!
Didn't realise there was a shorter version of this, the only one I'd heard was the 6 minute plus album version😳
Every band and song is underrated on RUclips in 2021.........
hahahahahahahaha well said
Who in quarentine?
R.I.P Brett
Faster P should be in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame yesterday…
So freakin underrated. Just like LA Guns
Love it!
My favorite song!
Related to this song in 96, still do in 23
Great song from FP
First class ticket on the nonstop to nowhere is about right
This song is glam and alternative at the same time
Magic...
Brent was so hot back in the day.
I was very very glad.. Happy for them that these guys don't do drugs as per their own statement in an interview. Love them all...🥰❤️❤️❤️
Faster pussycat was my band back in the 80s!!!!
Got to see these guys open for KISS on the Hot In The Shade tour in Philly
same! Only I saw the tour in Roanoke, VA.
first song I downloaded from the internet on Napster. Love this song
Three album, one better than the other.
Awesome still jamming in 2023 🎉🎉🎉
This is one serious Rock Band
They had some of my favorite songs of all time. Taime wrote amazing lyrics
@@timothyholmes4588
For some reason they got drowned out by a whole bunch of crappy bands that got signed and around the same time they did. Too much of a good thing is no good sometimes, that influx boxed them in as "just another L.A Band". They could of been huge had things been a little more different for them. However they managed to survive with a particular mystique, they were so good that people always kept an open eye and ear out for them. I truly think they were the last great Band to come off the strip in the Greatest Era of Hard Rock.
@@mtlsixshooter I totally agree. So many terrible bands back then and the ones that actually had a unique sound got lost in the mix. Real fans of the era know who the talented band were
Tamie was king of the sunset strip for a while!
@@mtlsixshooter Ya, I agree.
Always loved FP. ❤❤

What a nice song.
I like this song. I hope they do a final tour.
I got my daughters name from Taime. We spell hers Taymee
Actually it is pronounced just like I spelled it :) Nice try though. Oh and she loves her name
Darth Edbo also go watch Taime Downe - Faster Pussycat - Minutes with McNabb - Episode 3 You will hear his name pronounced correctly :)
@@tanbranwin6322 yes I had always thought it was pronounced like Tai food but with the Me so it sounded like Tie Me Downe. Years later I found out it was pronounced like Tame Me Downe but that never made sense to me..? Like why would you say Tame Me Downe instead of Tie Me Downe?? But oh well it’s his name! Lol
Аааах, какой прекрасный Тэйми! Шикарный вокалист! ❤❤❤❤❤❤
I like this song, word of honor as well
If only I'd had a crystal ball or could have invented a time machine I'd see how fkd up shit is and guess I'm still on that same train on the nonstop to nowhere
Very good song !
Damn I loved them with LA Guns. They were so underrated. They’re touring now ❤
Classic.
His voice is ultimate metal!

Song Title & Band Direction after this album😔 which I bought and enjoyed. Body Theif ROCKS!😔Saw em in '89 opening for Crue. 2nd Album has amazing tracks: PLEASE DEAR, CRYIN SHAME & ARIZONA INDIAN DOLL.
Is that the song about Jeffrey Dahmer?
Amazing in Newcastle t'other night!
ROCK ON..GREETINGS FROM PHILIPPINES🤟💪
A great American rock band circa 1990. A subject of "What ever happened to..."
