@@WheelchairDNA yes, i lock the brakes, but i think because my weight is more on the foot plate, it tends to tilt the chair forward a little bit which causes the chair to slip away from me.

My problem when i’m doing this is that my wheelchair slips away from me when i lift myself and it has caused me to fall a few times.😢
Brakes are important, also always having a hand on the chair so it can’t slip away. A few times I’ve had to pull the chair back and hold it in place
