This was just what I was looking for. I did just finish my bokashi bran. I put some in the compost. I made a tea the plant looked happy the leaves got erected
You prolly dont care but does any of you know of a tool to get back into an Instagram account..? I was dumb lost the password. I appreciate any tricks you can offer me!
Just saw a great 2 bucket diy bokashi bucket build. Just drill some holes and put a piece of screen at the bottom of the inner bucket. Put a lid on it. That allows the liquid to drain away from the solids. Awesome job with the land and garden you have. Tennessee is looking mighty nice in comparison to here in Massachusettes
Nice video that's given me a few ways of using bokashi bran I never thought of. Your channel is so helpful even though I'm limited to a suburban garden. Keep it coming :)
I also like the way you define the measurement. I did that already by chance. I can find any Japanese or Chinese youtubers explaining. I mean they have been bokashi for thousands of years I think
One of my favorite channels. Anymore updates on the worm system? I've mimicked a similar one and we are about to begin so any other nuggets of knowledge would be appreciated.
@@NaturesAlwaysRight I used your example and built off of it. No free wood and had to make it aesthetically pleasing since it's seen on the side of the house. Now to order the worms!
I planted a bunch of tomatoes 1 foot apart what do I need to do to make this work I am using bokashi should I prune more because its gonna look like a jungle? over 20 plants :)
Can I use your buddies bran as a master starter to inoculate big batches of bran? I need to go big. I have lots of chickens sheep 150 fruit tree and large garden. Thx and your vids are the best.
@@NaturesAlwaysRight I respect the fact that you have gotten much value out of the methods you have participated in, but is it possible that they were aerobic? The scientific literature points to anaerobic bacteria as harbingers of toxic materials, and do more harm than good. Considering your experience, is this still possible?

Highly interesting - as a biologist I really appreciate your information.
This is an extremely helpful video for expanding the use of bokashi bran. Thank you!
I like the fungal mat suggestion. Multiplies over just a few days. Fungal dominant is what we want for berries and for forage.

I know I am commenting on a 2 year old post, but check out grit guards for car wash buckets. that is my current plan for a diy bokashi.
I can’t wait to try this! I can’t believe I just heard about it. Thanks for the information…

Bokashi originated in Korea I believe.

No more updates on the old one. I'll be building a new one at my new place though :)

Never heard of the stuff. Interesting info. Ta.
Save yourself some money and go to your local brewery. They will give you spent grain and yeast.
what's your opinion on adding the bokashi bran
directly into a worm bin to assist the worms?
Hi there, can I mix rice bran directly into raised beds? If so, how much is ideal? Thanks.
Does cold weather kill the bokashi microbes in the garden or compost pile?
Great video! Where did you get the black buckets?
Dang girl. Your brows on fleek!
The power of bokashi!
Brownskashi
Thanks

San Pasqual Valley soils down the hill has a decent compost for cheap. Get the Planters blend compost.
Nice video. I'm wondering if the whole bin of Bokashi compost in #3 can replace the commercial chicken feed altogether?
Awesome

Love your videos!
Is this stuff beneficial in the worm bins?
Can I put it down my well, to clear up the water..?
Is a fungal mat or bacterial ?
Im guessing it's streptomyces/actinomycetes.
I have done em1 since 5 days but still producing gas and bubbling what is the solution
This may be a stupid question….. but can u incorporate into ur house pets food?
Great video!!! Cute chickens😍😂
is this filmed at your new property or old footage from San Diego?
Old San Diego footage :) I'll do an update video on that situation hopefully in a few weeks.
Can humans eat it as well? Can humans eat bokashi in my food or smoothie?
Can I use your buddies bran as a master starter to inoculate big batches of bran? I need to go big. I have lots of chickens sheep 150 fruit tree and large garden.
Thx and your vids are the best.
Have you heard of the news about the toxicity that anaerobic environments can create for your plants, from Elain Ingham?
Elaine is wrong

Ben Stiller is a gardener apparently.
