This is EA so anything is possible as they develop the game over the next year. Plus if it has good sales and stays fresh there can be expansions to look forward to.
This game looks super awesome!!!!! I can't wait to try it out.. My friend loves the alien games, I've always been a Starship Trooper fan, so will be great to play my fav franchise for a change..
I tried this out and it was a great time. The only issue (and it's a big one just for my setup) is that my current machine doesn't run it well. The gunplay and gameplay loop was fantastic, but it would turn into a powerpoint slide when the assaults were coming in. Great coverage over it though and hope you make this a game you stream!
This should be like in first person shooter. But get boring later. Still it good game play design to keep replay. It remind of the evolve game as well other rts and fps. It good to have more game play to play it. I hope there more game play on it. Oh right there is planetside 2 with construction system for it. They didn't give up but give more way to play then static map.
Sad it took them this long to bring out a good starship troopers game. The IP has gotten old and less known without a live series, animated series, or new film of some manner. The game looks promising so far as long as they have a decent range of levels, objectives, and playable classes. They could add a psychic and a mech trooper for instance
Although i serious love to see this game succeed, i dont think it has a long life. Yes its build up pretty decent and i got in matches rather fast, there are many aspects that are just chaos and 'not fun'. Base building was 99% of the time 3 dudes shouting over the mic 'wrong place', the weapons feel 'off' and hard to see if it actualy does any decent damage, the extraction is annoying because it shows no indicator u have to get 'inside' the ship. And fun, people still stay at the door shooting, getting killed by melee stuff. Feels kinda like Second Extinsion, great on paper, just poor in execution. The 2nd heavy gun btw is plain stupid, normal shooting and the gun has a recoil of over 9000, u put a metal circle around u... poof 100% accurate. Ammowise its useless, the semi-big guys take easy a clip to take down, the rockets do way to little splash damage and it just boils down to a 'running simulator with a few mobs to wack'.
This is gonna flop just as bad as Colonial Marines game did! They've missed the entire point of what made the og concept appealing. This a a Destiny/Planetary hybrid that only uses some chopped up movie designs. 🤬

the devs did som amazing work with some of the smaller details like the bullet holes on the bugs as they do look similar to the films.

I don't play many FPS games, but this looks awesome. If they can build it into something like COD but in the Starship Troopers theme, TAKE MY MONEY!!!
