you probably dont care but does anyone know a way to get back into an Instagram account?? I was stupid forgot my password. I appreciate any tips you can offer me
@Alejandro Alejandro I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site on google and Im trying it out now. Looks like it's gonna take a while so I will get back to you later with my results.
Pontiac should've offered this option from the factory. It would've been a big hit. The Pontiac Solstice Cheetah is what the V8 option should've been called. Pontiac's own Cobra
I got a 2007 solstice! Really like the build looking to do something similar. With a 6.2 and a turbo or supercharger set up in the future!!! What trans fits good?
Just about THE perfect car.... Have thought about doing an LS3 swap in one of these for ever. Excellent car....!! BMW would charge $150,000 for that car, Mercedes Benz too But...you find a clean Pontiac or Saturn, and drop in an LS, and you straight slaughter thise cars, and many more
0:40 A 5.3 is a Vortec, not an LS. There are few engines that are LS engines, and they start with the LS1 in the Corvette in 1997. Not sure why everyone calls Vortec engines out of a truck an 'LS' engine.
@@jasonaho5968 Not sure what PC is but I don't have an issue with anything. Call it what you want, the LS were aluminum blocks, had different intakes and fuel delivery parts to make an LS what it is. Try to buy premade engine mount kits for what people call 'LS' engines and you will find they don't fit because the blocks are physically different. When this happened to me, this was my wake-up call to tell me someone was telling a lie. Even with the different mount locations it's kind of cringy to call all Vortec truck and SUV engines from GM 'LS' engines since it isn't true. Google is your friend here if you want to find out more information. Call it a Thanksgiving turkey, this is a free country and you can call it whatever you want. But because large amounts of people think GM truck engines are 'LS' engines doesn't make it true.
@@afternoongarageGoogle is your friend more than mine so brush off those white New Balance sneakers. Those silly truck engines were aluminum too. You couldn't even tell from the video what the actual engine is so take a seat. Sounds like you made a mistake, ordered the wrong parts and now everyone else is a dummy. What a trivial argument. Take a poll in any group and let me know what the results are for whether an engine is an "LS". Ya goof!
@@jasonaho5968 I don't make mistakes when ordering parts, the fabricator/supplier had to learn this fact as well. If it is indeed a 5.3L like the title says, then it is not a factory 'LS' period. I was commenting about the title not your opinion about my shoes. Like I said, call it a pineapple it doesn't matter but not every engine is an LS. No name calling necessary.
@@afternoongarage you made a mistake and your guy agreed with you so he didn't have to listen to how right you were. All the info you need is out there. Take responsibility for your mistakes and move on.
Your car has power comparable to many small block Corvettes in the 1960s and 70s, stock. With the GM tune and 3-bar sensors you can have 290bhp and 340ft-;bs, and that tune removes learn-down so with just a better exhaust you can have a 320bhp and 375ft'lb Redline easily.
I had to sell my Solstice 2009 GXP 5 speed turbo i bought in 2017 with only 35K miles garage kept...just like that one. I only had one year left on payments, lost my job in oil and gas whe Biden killed the industry. I loved that car. I even built a special garage for it.
No, not the Solstice stock trans. The AISIN AR5 transmission can handle more than that with a clutch upgrade.. I know guys making ~600 rwhp with the stock transmission a n d an upgraded clutch
Love these rare roadsters. I don´t understand the amount of hate these little cars get. People are hell bent on hating the Solstice.
Fun little cars. Lots of potential with set ups like this
RCR audi tt review said it best the curves

The guy was way cool. Totally liked his attitude (drinking beer, talking smack) and the application of the small block is spot-on!

Ok Mr. PC... Its actually an LT swap, but you probably have an issue with that too since its an L83.

5.3L and you are still running a stock transmission???
Is there a company that makes the swap kit for this car or is it something fabbed up ??? Asking for a friend

They might not be doing these anymore but they used to be the go-to

Stock tranmission? On wikipedia(xd) 350 Nm is the limit for the aisin ar5

what about smog ? will it meat standards for emissions
Hahahhahahah!!!
whp and torque?
Not sure. Maybe 550whp at the most. I just street tune and run it at the track. Shooting for 9s this year.
That should be in the rights... something is wrong
