This woman was God sent! A man's enemies are members of his own household. Family is not about blood;it is about who is there for you when you need them the most. Never forget the place of prayer and don't lose hope in God.
One footnote I wish all of us would take from this interview. Mama Yaa says she is an Ewe woman, but my goodness, she is as good as any Akan or Ashanti in every measure. Her accent is top notch, she is an Akan, by culture, as a result of the environment that nurtured and influenced her upbringing. This is what makes Ghana to be a very strong nation. We shouldn’t ever consider fighting each other like Nigerians did. That would cause irreparable damage the price of which we can never pay. We should throw out all the agent provocateurs who beat the drumbeats of war.

I don't get what you are trying to put out. Are Akans superior?
What makes an Akan different from an Ewe is ethnicity or tribe. But listening to Mama Yaa, if she had not disclosed that she is an Ewe, you would never have imagined she is of any other tribe but Akan because of her great proficiency and command of Twi in pitch and tone. Based on that, I concluded that where one was born and raised must count as part of who they are. This is not to say one ethnicity is better than the other but to say where you are born or raised makes you part of that area. For instance, many of Ghanaian children born overseas reference where they are born as their hometown and not where their parents were born. I strongly suspect Mama Yaa was born and raised for the greatest part of her life in Kumasi, and that has influenced her instincts and ideations. For that reason I concluded she is an Akan or Ashanti. That is my opinion. You are entitled to yours.
