I forgot to mention that there are some mediocre universal grips included with both versions as well. Can also confirm that the normal version has no coating, whilst the PRO version does. The Pro model also supports fast charging, but I personally don't see a reason to get it over the normal version since it's around 6 g heavier.

Thank you for this review. due to your high praise I orderd the Ghero from Aliexpress. Recieved it today and can honestly say that out of the 30ish mice i've owned i've never felt so comfortable with a shape. Lamzu thorn and SS Prime wireless being the closest. I used some aluminium tape to get the side to side wobble to an absolute minimum and now have zero complaints. Thanks again!

I strongly believe that this incott company shares the same factory as pwnage, since they share so many same shapes and features like swappable back shells etc
Jakeu nice review! - I was wondering if you can design some baseplates for ghero and z2 to reduce the weight as you did for superlight 2 - I am sure the community will love to bring them to 50gms with a smaller battery swap as well!
A tutorial on how to sand down and cut the base of mice would be really great.
For sanding its p easy, 80 grit sandpaper, lay it flat on a table, pick your mouse and start doing circles on the sandpaper. You can do a finish with 1200, 2000 sandpaper just so the bottom dont look too scuffed

It was hell to get the 8k receiver to work, but after it started working another problem appeared. The side buttons don't work properly
for example, if I bind the letter "L" to the side button, press it and keep it pressed, the button stops working as soon as the mouse is moved and I have to press it again

I accidentally updated the GHERO mouse firmware to {wired mode} and now I can no longer use it wirelessly witk 1khz dongle. Is there any way to revert the update?

For the past several purchases, some of which have been from companies such as VXE, Lamzu and even RAzer (Viper V3 pro) I ended up with uneven mice with factory build issues.
What I mean by that - with stock skates, or w/o skates, the mice presented a wobble on hard surfaces (some of them are not noticeable on soft mats); for instance on the VXE R1 Pro Max when I opened it up to see wtf was going on, one of the holes for the screws that kept in place the top shell with the bottom was forced in too tight which caused the socket to crack and the screw was spinning like a dud inside.
With the Viper V3 pro I didn't even attempt to open it up to see what's going on, I just returned it as it arrived 2h earlier to me noticing this issue.
My desk is even, pad is even, no dirt on the pad or anything, it's just that some of these mice lately have been fucked up and I would appreciate if someone would cover these aspects of said mice.. as if they might present an uneven feel on the pad with or w/o skates.
Np-01 has been one of, if not my favourite shape for over a year now, but I’ve always wished the front was a bit more narrow. I have an np01s but the front feels too thin, and the back too narrow (my preference for the front being between the 2). This seems like a no brainier

I had the xlite v3 mini and thorn here after years of kone pro air and even though I always hated the zowie ergos, probs bc they were just too tall in general, kinda liked both. why I didnt keep any of them though was 1. the thorn was generally a tiny bit too big, 2. the hump of the xlite mini touches and aches my index finger knuckle.
now I can't afford to get a vaxee to test their line of mice but this one intrigued me tbh.
for me personally I think a thorn mini would actually be my endgame hence my question on how the ghero fares against it even though their shape differences.
unfortunately I need a curve on the right side of my mouse as I couldnt really do much with ambi mice aside from the x2h mini, though it was too narrow.

Great review, like the ones I watched!! I'd like to ask you a tip, as you're more knowledgeable than myself. I've been using a g-pro wireless for the last 4 years, but the switches started to double click and I really want to change my mouse, what would you suggest between the Incott GHERO, the zaopin Z2 and the VXE R1-Pro Max (or the pro)? I really am unable to chose one and I don't really wanna bother with the slow shipping/shipping back thing (I use a relaxed claw grip and have small hands). Thx!
