The way homing torpedoes work is highly unrealistic, and they do not increase your hit probability, because they encourage players to shoot from long range. Pinging does nothing except alert the target to your presence, which (a) invites counterattacks; and (b) usually results in the target making a radical turn away, causing the torpedoes either to miss or run out of steam.
I never said that I dont enjoy subs, unlike cvs I think they are actually a bit of fun and while the core design is not really fitting into the game I dont have real problems with them
I feel like Trenlass plays the U-2501 too passively. Its basically a 50 second cooldown nuke and he's not utilising its potential by just going for 1-2 hits per salvo. I have a game ive posted with a U-2501 and in comparison, i use the pings but whilst conducting evasive maneuvers so depth charges still miss but i home in on targets with more torps and shotgunning in this sub couldnt be easier, even against hydro. But im investing a lot into improving and playing subs as they're fun (to play, not play against lul) and i doubt trenlass cares that much to min max the subs as he probs hardly plays them. Either way, fun game to watch, o7!
I agree! Could probably had won this game if Tren actually used some pings on those BBs, now he just wasted a lot of time and torps for some meeh damage just to prove a point about not pinging. Sure, dont spam ping on CVs or huge groups of BBs but once or twice to secure kill after kills is much more efficient. As Tren said himself, he had Open season on those BBs and CV because the enemy Sub and DD was elsewhere, so he should actually had killed them of quite easily in a sub like this one.
@@G_Moos Just search pretty much any other U-2501 game on YT and you will see what captains that pings once in a while can do in this sub. Tren pretty much threw the game just for making a point, a point that wasent even so good. It might be better point for Gato exclusivly.

If Trenlass was being honest he'd acknowledge that he doesn't like CV's and Subs simply because they are hard to play against.

Bemoaning something and playing something is not hypocrite. The arguments against CVs and Subs are real and watch all streamers that also are unicums (like Flambass and Flamu). Their critics are well thought out and you can be happy that most CV-players are medicore at best. Otherwise you would deinstall wows right now.

He obviously hates CVs more, like any sane person would. He is not a hypocrite, he is a streamer. Playing CVs or subs gets him followers.
