For savings, I keep my heating at 56 degrees in winter and 80 degrees in summer. For the same cost as a blanket, I use a sleeping bag to stay warm in the cold months.
@@lorriefinley3129 I live in Pennsylvania (USDA Zone 7a), which has all four seasons. I go for a walk in the morning for a minimum of 50 minutes and have not missed a single day (since September 2019) no matter what the weather is like.
You should definitely apply for one of those FREE space heaters mentioned in the video. Space heaters are wonderful. I think that you deserve 65 degrees F all winter.
I didn't have proper heat last winter and spent most of the winter under the electric throw blanket. I also have many extra blankets. I am waiting for my LEAP application to be approved. Hope it comes through soon. Propane company wants money... I don't have any.
Hi, if you have a st.vincent DePaul church organization near you they will help with small to mid size bills, food coats etc. So will catholic social services, salvation army usually will as well. We all need to help one another. Happy Thanksgiving. Good luch.❤stay warm.
I live in Houston, Tx. and have tried Weatherization Programs, they don't help, at least for me. They ask too many questions and once you send them the application, they deny it.
Those in St Louis MO. can participate in Warner's Warm Up. Former NFL. football player Kurt Warner. has sponsored a winter coat giveaway for more than ten years in St Louis.
I am a Senior, living in Tulsa, OK, and my outdoor furnace/ AC combo, stopped working in Dec 2021. I cannot locate ANY program that can help me get heat- been trying all I can find since it went out. I'm either told the org is out of $$ or I don't qualify without children. I had a tiny portable heater last year, but due to the really frigid weather, it stopped working too. Do you have any resources here?
WOW! Happy Thanksgiving oh wait you're not celebrating our holiday ,right. Sorry you're so unhappy you felt the need to lash out. Sending healing energy your way friend😢
The motivation underlying this channel is kindness: 8:15 . And that always warms the heart. 🙂
Thanks Nicole and team

@@pegs1659 That is an excellent range. 😎
@markritacco270 I hope you meant the other way around. Unless you live where its hot in Winter and cold in Summer?

@@cherylrusso1805 Unfortunately no. I live in a small mountain town in Colorado and we don't have much to offer here. I keep praying.
Dont go to sleep when you use a space heater or electric blanket. Silicone hot water bottles are cheap and safe.
Thank you girl. Always appreciate your efforts to inform. Blessings to all
Thanks for sharing this information. This channel is a blessing.
❤Nicole your the best and my BFF GF, thanks so much for your informative information kudos GF,,,❤Beverly 😊
Space heaters and electric blankets useless when power is out, often.
It’s cold in NJ but it’s not much help here in terms of programs the south is amazing
i just have hoodies and long sleeves cotton shirts
You've got to fill out a thorough application online for the heaters or blankets. It's a helpful program.
