Sliabh Luachra fiddler Julia Clifford joins fellow fiddler and Boston resident Paddy Cronin in Óstán Dún an Óir in Ballyferriter.
Both Julia Clifford and Paddy Cronin were born and grew up in Gneeveguilla which is in Sliabh Luachra, a geographical region which covers parts of east Kerry, northwest County Cork and west County Limerick. Musically it is renowned for polkas and slides.
The last time the pair saw each other was two years ago, at a party in Boston. Julia tells a story about a night out with her brother Dennis and Paddy Cronin when they went to play at a céilí in Rathmore,

It was first broadcast on 07 January 1988. Singer Iarla Ó Lionáird took over as presenter for the second, third and fourth series, which were filmed in Cultúrlann na hÉireann, the headquarters of Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann, Monkstown, County Dublin. Fiddler Paddy Glackin presented Series 5 - 9, while fiddler Martin McGinley presented the tenth and final series in 1996. The last episode was broadcast on 25 February 1996.
