Sorta reminds me of my old clamming days in the back bays of southern New Jersey....metal clam basket inside of an inner tube....wading in waste deep water on the hunt for those Jersey Gems ! Nice lil haul ya got there !!!!
I needed your basket for all my veggies and the pineapple the other night! Me and a buddy went to a spot like that on the river last week and he got nine $1 coins all within a few feet circle! Someone must have lost a roll of $1 coins or something, just weird sometimes what you find. -Russ
Jimmy, any idea why there are so many coins in one small area. Seems very strange. From the looks of we have a hurricane coming. That will really get thing moving on the bottom. Good luck.
@Osmiculture there has been some questions about this area. Some people may think it's a offering spot for some religion that just accumulated over time. No way of knowing.
Jimmy, can you please share where you got that basket/milk crate you are using? I have basic ones but the holes on the bottom are too big. Your crate there in the video looks like the holes are small enough to stop a dime. Thanks
I got that small mash from home Depot. It comes in a pretty big size roll. I ended up making several of them and giving them away check home Depot I think I found it in the fencing department.
@@jimmycrossbones5454 Thank you , I could not see you had the plastic mesh on the bottom. Now that I zoom in, I can see it. That’s similar to how I used to hunt gold nuggets in Alaska. Scoop out all the “sounds” using a plastic trowel then toss them in to a gold pan or bucket. Once I had several sounds in there I would pan them out with water. 👍
