I'm Paige, a former teacher turned full-time entrepreneur, and I am thrilled to have you join me on this wild ride as I build my brand from the ground up.
As a former teacher, I know what it's like to feel stuck in a career that no longer fulfills you. That's why I want to inspire and empower other women to take control of their lives and pursue their dreams. It's never too late to make a change and start down a new path, and I'm here to support and encourage you every step of the way.
So buckle up, grab a cup of coffee -- or a glass of red, if that's your thing ;-) -- and let's do this thing together.

This is probably one of the most honest videos I have encountered concerning why teachers, but more why women leave teaching or are frustrated with education. Thank you for taking the time.

Thank you for this video. I'm a High School Spanish Teacher and I've been professionally bullied my first year and even to this day in my fourth year of Teaching it is still suffocating. My mental health is so low. I don't go out. I stay to myself. I'm looking to get out of this field asap. Your story is inspiring!

I am so sorry to hear that, Joy. I seriously know the feeling. Do you have any leads on other jobs/industries you’d be interested in doing? I’m sure you are super marketable by being bi-lingual!!

@@paigemaria_ to be honest I don't have connections. I've been applying for months/years to get out of Teaching. It is to the point I may have to take a risk.
      Thank you for responding.

Hey Joy! I’m supposed to start a Spanish HS position next year but if I’m going to resign, need to do so very soon. How are you doing? Did you leave teaching?

I’ve been a high achieving teacher my whole career. I just got the governor’s teacher of the year award. This school year just started, and I am sooooo unmotivated. I don’t feel creative anymore, I don’t want to do anything. I feel like the better you are, the more work they give you. Meanwhile, there are teachers who don’t give much effort at all, who are very low performing, and they get away with it. It’s total bs and I want out. I’m a doctoral student as well so your video really touched me. I have a lot of skills to offer and I would love to get started on my own entrepreneurship journey as well 😢

I am a Sub after 32 years in the Air Force. I have a Masters degree in curriculum and instruction. I will never want to be full time. Cell phones and bad behaviour way out of control. The stories I hear from full time teachers make Iraq look better.

I am 42 with a Master's in education and am certified to teach in two states, and I too am a substitute teacher at high schools and really like it. No way would I ever go into teaching. Too many reasons to list, but student and parent behavior plus I want to enjoy my life... top the list. I know teachers who spend their Summer break worried about the next school year. It's just no way to live.

@glennwatson3313 it means that depending on your school, you will determine when you can leave in the year. If it really is unbearable, then u have to leave mid year.
