I've loved pretty much all of the players in AH's bands, but Donati & Crawford are probably my favorite rhythm section of them all. That's a galaxy of talent on that stage. We miss you AH.
Awwesome - brilliant music - great band of amazing musicians. Allan especially is so special - the most incredible tone and presence - his initial entry to this piece takes it to another level of majesty and mystical magic (whew!)! And it grows from there. I suspect it'll be a long time before the world has another guitar giant of Allan's calibre. We're all enriched by his having blessed us with his presence. This clip is one of the best sonically that I've heard on RUclips - thanks for sharing.

I know Virg does the prog rock thing really well, but I've always felt the progressive fusion thing is actually what he does best because of his ability to improvise and push and pull the time through constant fills. It showcases his abilities in a band setting best, and I reckon it's a bit of a shame he's not better known for this style.
