- Nearly 80 years later, Jose Padilla shares a story from when he was 9 years old and growing up in a rural part of New Mexico just 13 miles from where the U.S. tested the world's first nuclear bomb in 1945. The Trinity detonation was part of the Manhattan Project led by famed physicist J. Robert Oppenheimer.
Now a resident of LA County, Padilla explains exactly what he saw one day in the summer of 1945, not long after the Trinity bomb testing. The incident will be investigated by the U.S. Department of Defense as part of an expansion of probes into UFO and extraterrestrial sightings.
"That object - it is not from this world," he tells KCAL's Chris Holstrom in a recent interview.

Thank you for covering this case! I have had the honor of spending time with both Paola Harris and Jose Padilla. I know the trail of clues she has carefully followed, and the really compelling story Jose tells. Having him tell it while driving around town is compelling. Having him tell it while we are standing at the crash site..well that is life changing. I know that there are flaws in this case. I really lived and breathed it for a coujple of years. There are flaws in all cases. This is a non-sensical and unexplainable phenomenon. We need to figure out how to study it now, not debunk every historic encounter. There is something to learn from Jose.
I don't think Paola was very compelling at all .I read the book. It was actually quite disappointment.
I believe our government is clever enough to make an exact duplicate of the metal he found and replace it with normal metal from our planet to discredit him, also other aliens could have easily comeback and did the same. People won't believe anything unless it can be proven in a laboratory they can't think outside the box, so to speak.

My dad grew up during the depression, a child of migrant farm workers. He was a logical analytical person who became an international commercial pilot through the 60s, 70s & 80s, into the 90s.
Many times he saw unexplainable flying craft or it's lights, moving like nothing on earth: Super-fast, yet instantly executing a right angle, or changing directions without losing speed. Then, hovering, after executing such maneuvers. He saw the infamous "silver ball" (usually explained away as a weather balloon) that zipped along a great speed, yet also stood still, no matter what the wind was doing. He saw that particulare one in the western United States driving cross country. The others he saw mainly over large bodies of water. Seas.

My father saw a large, silver, cigar shaped UFO back in 1968 Kentucky.He was getting off work and always had to walk across a field to get home; one night as he was walking it came out over the trees and lowered itself closer to the field ground, totally silent. My dad just stood there and watched it until it slowly rose back up and disappeared. Moon was bright that night and he got a very good visual on it…he just stood there in shock
That's crazy...I was just remembering my great aunts were driving through rural Kentucky and they saw a UFO. They said the radio and lights cut off, the car quit running and the trunk popped open. The car restarted once it passed over. This was in the 1960s.

I've seen this man interviewed multiple times and saying the exact same thing. One super interesting admission was these creatures helping each other after the event, other people associated with an archeological dig that showed up first and approached the scene closely first, this man witnessed this and then most interesting was that he observed the creatures getting visibly agitated and frantic once the military showed up. The crime here is obvious - their vehicle was shot from the sky, the military knows how to do this, and these creatures understand themselves to be trapped once cornered by military. How are tjey different from us, aside from tech and appearance? I surmise they value freedom for themselves and observably we are not imprisoned by them.

I read Jacques Vallee's book several years ago. Unlike many books of the genre published in the U.S., it does not sensationalize the data; nor does it go to the other extreme, which automatically takes up the position " such things can't be." Instead, it is a carefully researched and documented book, geared to the masses, rather than peer reviewed literature. It is a must read.

It's very interesting how he says they looked like fire ants. The ant face comparison is something I also heard in another video not related to this one at all. An American guy that conducted an investigation in the Peruvian jungle, and the natives there truly isolated Amazonian people they also called them ant people because of the shape of their face and heads.

Here is something interesting about the composition of the metal part he removed from the craft. If there were no other ingredients than silicone and copper, such as magnesium, our military in 1945 as well as today wouldn't manufacture aluminum that way. What if different worlds don't have minerals like magnesium? That metal object he found sounds like it is much more unique than it is being credited. My research below:

Aluminum alloys are categorized by the primary alloying element, with the "1xxx" series representing pure aluminum (with minimal other elements), "2xxx" series containing copper, "4xxx" series containing silicon, and so on.
No "Si-Cu" Alloy in 1945:
While combinations of silicon and copper could be added to aluminum, creating a specific alloy with only those two elements was not common practice in 1945 due to the limited understanding of alloy properties and the need for other elements to achieve desired characteristics.

It's quite exciting to see a news station cover the story of exotic craft with NHI aboard, especially for someone who has witnessed the UFO/UAP. Even though I've never seen the operators of these crafts, their existence is a fact. Mr. Padilla is honest in his assertions; truthfully the universe teems with life. Despite some concerns, it seems that intelligent life forms are supportive of humanity as we emerge from our metaphorical slumber.
I just recently learned that at that time, the US Army Air Corp.(Pre-USAF) was patrolling the sky's over and around Roswell, NM with the only Radar equipped night fighters in the world at the time, the Northrup P-61 Black Widows. These advanced fighters were piloted by seasoned WWII fighter crews of 3 and had orders to shoot down anything unidentified flying over NM at the time (Soviet or Alien) as all (100%) of the US's Nuclear Bombs/arsenal were stored at Roswell Army Airfield. The P-61's had a powerful targeting radar in the nose, quad 20 mm cannons underneath with additional 50 cal. machine guns on the wings. But the secret of how they were shooting down the UFO's was not the radar...it was their tactics. These aircraft crews would only use their radar and ground based radar up to about 5 nm from their intended target, at which point they switched them off and transitioned over to another very specialized targeting device(s), sets of Targeting binoculars that were also early night vision devices. So that is what brought down several saucers over NM in 1947 with holes in them and chunks missing. The P-61's pounced on, and chewed up a few of them. Rumor has it however, that we lost a few of our own P-61's & crews attempting these shootdowns as the UFO's certainly could/can defend themselves. Yes, the Grays were/are not our friends!
My dad was in the Air Corp back then from 1944 to 1948 and would never discuss Roswell until right before his death. He mentioned the oaths they took, the punishment, then simply said this, "Everybody knew a real spacecraft was recovered." That`s all he would say.

Reverse Engineering of ET Spacecrafts didn't start until after the crash of a "flying saucer" in 1947 in Roswell New Mexico, even though there were other crashes of UFO's, in years prior to 1947. There are photographs of men examining a deceased ET body in 1945, presumably from a spacecraft crash. I'm assuming there were no survivors. The 1947 Roswell NM crashed spacecraft had 4 ET's inside of it. Three of them were dead (one was torn in half), but the fourth ET was alive but seriously injured. That ET died in 1952 at Nellis AFB in Nevada, at Area 51 which is located in a corner area of Nellis AFB. So, the spacecraft this man saw as a child, was an actual ET Spacecraft. The military had started using a new type of Radar that 'piggy-backed' on the ET Spacecrafts, rendering them impossible to steer and control. Many of them in range of the new radar, also crashed.
The remains of the Roswell NM spacecraft, and the frozen bodies of the 4 deceased ET's are located at Wight-Patterson AFB, just east of Dayton Ohio, and heavily guarded.

Only there were virtually NO spacemen in movies until the 1950s and '60s. They had the same timeframe as World War II movies - with virtually all of them being made and screened during the 1950s and '60s. So no sale. Plus those involved in this story seem to have much difficulty knowing if it was a crash or landing.
