Man, I'm humbled and honored brother. I really appreciate this and I really appreciate you. It's been awesome watching your channel grow and all of the ideas you put into the world. I learn a lot from your videos and am glad that you're a voice in this space. I appreciate you brother, sincerely. It's all happening 🏆
You’ve done the same to me (and you told me when I get started you will be there to watch and help) so to see this king feel the same way and you posting the link to this video and I found this channel today from the post and that motivated me more because he’s proof! And I can’t wait till you’re posting links for my videos too! I agree with everything he said! You are the new big Tigger, the new AJ and free! As a member of your channel I love and appreciate all the extra content you put out to much love to you and read my sole!!
Way to pay it forward Justin👏🏾 I love both of your channels and I watch every video. Intellectual voices in hip hop bring that balance that we so dearly need. Thank you both.
4:28 Being named after Jodecei is a high key tell you had teenager parents in the 90's. Lol. My son was born in 93 and his nickname was ziggy so we holler "Ziggy Smalls is the illest!!" My People.
Dude, this is so amazing. I'm a white rapper from Brazil, from an inpoverished middle class background. I don't relate to the status quo and I don't want to ascend to enjoy full whiteness, so to speak. I love hip hop but I know I don't have the type of background to be from the culture. I am another avid fan who learnt something through the music. So I want to move in a way that's respectful to the intentions and perceptions of people who really live through all the racism and systemic oppression. I really like to see sophisticated and kind voices taking over hip hop commentary. People who could have crashed out but didn't. Because these other dudes you've cited are toxic AF. They seem to be aligned with money, clout, and surprisingly, even with the political representatives of the status quo. I want to shout out Decipher Ed, a track reaction channel led by a pair of dudes who got this same vibe I'm getting from your content, from BigZoe, The Company Man and other voices.
The Company Man sent me here as well! Great video and great to hear positivity. Similar to you, Justin Hunte’s videos have been a staple for me over the years and his level of professionalism in journalism within the hip hop community is highly respected. Also, you brought up a good point, when he was not producing content for a period of time it was tough finding a way to fill the void. But his run since he’s been back is phenomenal. Thanks for a great video and hope you and your family are doing well with the current situation you are in. Looking forward to more videos from your channel.
One of the best things coming out of this beef is all the Hip Hop commentators and analysts etc coming together, acknowledging each other's work, working together, complimenting each other and what not. Love to see the unity.
Great video! The Company Man sent me here. I can’t wait for content creators like yourself take over this space because we are getting tired of the loud mouth ones.
Well said brother!! Shout out to you and Justin Hunte aka The Company Man! I pray you succeed in all you do. Aldo praying 🙏 for everyone affected by Hurricane Helene. ❤
Justin will be in the history books in regards to hip hop and rap. He's created ripples that are felt almost everywhere in this landscape while barely getting properly mentioned or credited and its a shame. I'm glad to see a video thanking him for what he's done/is doing. A true legend.
The choice between Elliott Wilson and Justin Hunte is easy. I'm here because of Justin Hunte. I'm subscribed because of the Next Big Three and Tupac videos. You've got my eye and ear. Hope you and yours are doing well and staying safe.
It’s all happening! I always love that guy. This is a great video & I caught another recently & it too was great- hope you keep succeeding & this was a nice positive video.
I counted the number of times you said journalist because that obviously signifies the number of years that … oh never mind 😂😂😂 Don’t let my silly ahh get in the way of my true admiration for what you’re doing with your channel. And i love the new era of hip hop journalists, critics, and griots from OUR culture that people like Justin, Curtiss, yourself and many others are carving out. It’s all happening! ❤
Justin Hunte...."its all happening" i follow and watch him. I found his channel during the Kendrick/Drake beef and was hooked. His content is on a level that people like myself who isn't into all that drama can appreciate. Big up Justin and alm the otgers you mentioned in this video. I eatch them all. As a ,48yr old woman learning to love hip hop and rap again, i appreciate channels like these which helps me understand the "nee artists and their "beef" with one another and some of their lyrics.
Ur on the right path man. The ppl who truly care ab hip hop are coming here. Thank you for being transparent and open in ur vids. Thanks for showing us ur soul. Many more blessings bro🙏🏽
Love this channel as much as the company man ( Justin Hunt). As an OG in this culture and the wider black culture, im so proud to see a young man such as you staying true and keeping the culture alive ✊🏿
I'm definitely a fan of @TheCompanyMan I feel like he's my tour guide to the culture of hip hop and I'm also a huge fan of you too, my guy :) Your voice is uniquely down to earth and very relatable. Thank you!!

Came over from the company man channel. Im really loving your content. I've binge watched 6 videos already. You come with grest perspectives. Keep up the good work.
As a white hip hop head I gotta say, the shit with What's the Dirt is so out of touch and disrespectful. It shows where his values truly lie and the way he handled the situation just made him look like an entitled asshole.
