Nogla's subtitles take is valid. Some accents a are hard to understand, while other times some people or characters just have a unique way of speaking that's even harder to understand compared to an accent.
And not to mention change of volume! Some scenes or actors just don’t have enough volume at times when everything/everyone else is fine. Easier to have subtitles than rewind 10 seconds every time think I misheard 😂

Nogla is right about subtitles helping you hear better. How many times have you wondered what a musician is saying, read the lyrics and now hear it perfectly when you listen again? Also a lot of accents and grumbling in movies, subtitles work.

If I am remembering correctly there is only one account of druids sacrificing people. It came from a roman commander who was at war with the celts. The report is believed by many to be exaggerated to gain more support for the war.
Most notable human sacrifices were aztec and a few legends revolving around "human pillars" in Japan, since the dawn of religion europe and Asia were mostly free of it, in fact europe stopped the sacrifices in the Americas when it got colonised, I think most of these bullsh*t stories are just Catholic fear mongering

I think he's more talking about the ritual part of it. Which idk if children were sacrificed but it was common for human sacrifices. The witch hunts, specifically the Salem trials. We're a result of satanic panic and also a lot of family politics. Basically goes to show, u shouldn't try to be blind about your religions history. U can shame ur own religion whilst still following just like you should still do research and not just follow whatever holy book u read says. Halloween isn't a pagan holiday though, it's considered all saints day, or the eve of all saints. In some traditions, it's considered pagan, but initially its not. Neither is Christmas. The reason Christmas is celebrated during it's respectful date is due to the birth of Christ's actual date not being specified in the bible. However, scholars have concluded that the birth took place between late December and early January. That's not an implication that Christmas is pagan, nor should it be looked at as such. Some traditions like the Christmas tree were used in paganism, but I don't think God is gonna get pissy over a tree being in your house. Christmas is to celebrate and honor the birth of christ.
Just because some aspects of one's tradition is considered pagan to them, doesn't entirely mean it is.

Pretty much every Christian holiday is on a Pagan holiday for this reason. Christmas itself was established by Emperor Constantine during the 4th century after making Christianity the main religion, and wanted to wash over other practicing religions in an attempt to replace them.
They did the same thing in Ireland with A LOT of Celtic holidays and traditions. Like replacing Imbolc with St Brigid's Day (who was also railroaded, as she was the Celtic Goddess of fertility and life, but was rewritten as a Christian Saint instead....)
Paganism - "a religion other than one of the main world religions, specifically a non-Christian or pre-Christian religion". This does not mean all pagans are satanists, Nogla

also since we bringing up religion and children being touched, i was required to take a trainee course on making sure children are safe in churches for a job I had as a teacher in a church, they had real stories of children at a church being touched and staff of a church saying they could've done something but they didn't :(( long story short we were encouraged by the church to take care of kids and keep them safe from priests 😭like the church themselves didn't trust their own priests bruh

His religious beliefs are a product of colonial imperialism. Where anything pagan (non Christian) is considered Satanic.
