Good Lord, this is beautiful. Definitely my favorite adoration of the magi so far.
I love the way each person is portrayed - especially adorable bb Jesus blessing the reverent king prostrated before him. Love the interesting narrative winding around the painting. Love the addition of 3D plaster. Love that it is opulent without being gaudy.

That is incredibly close to a romantic style. I love this piece. I learned a lot about the transition from Imperial Gothic to Renaissance from it just now.
