Great video. It’ll be my first festival since 2000 😂. some of these things weren’t even available back then so I appreciate the list. I’m taking my 17 year old blind son to his first festival so it should be a laugh.
Hi there loved listening to the list. If it rains (fingers crossed it doesn't) I prefer, my own comfort my catapillar walking boots and I put on gaiters. In 2019 they were great I now have two pairs all ready for June. I have good quality rain poncho's and a couple of kagouls. I also take a spray can of Fabisil just for any leaks to my tent. Also good to have is a tarp. For my flagpole I have the flag bungees they are also good to use as cable ties too.
Someone else has mentioned Fabisil to me, I think I’ll have to pick up a can to take in an emergency. I’ve already water proofed the tent all over, but focusing on the seems makes complete sense too! Thanks for watching, and thanks for the comment 😁
Great video for us (it’s our first time at Download). Silly question… are you allowed to leave and come back? We want to pack up Sunday morning, put everything in the car, and then leave Sunday night. I know some festivals don’t let you leave once you’re in, but we don’t want to be packing up Sunday night.
Glad you enjoyed! Very common to do that, we’ve done it a number of years. As long as you’ve got your wristbands, you can leave site and come back as you please throughout the weekend
good stuff mate!
Thanks!
Nearly festival season baby!!
only thing you need to take is a chidz
Yep, already packed mine

Cheers stu. I’ve already got my fat franks basket loaded with stuff. Maybe just need to narrow it down a bit 😂. The 10% will certainly hep 👍🏻
