I will always like the old one, however the new version's meaning is way closer to the original. While still being wonderful the first one left me with the feeling that things could still work with Taro or that at least Hanon would still love him and hope for him to return one day, the newer version instead really felt like a goodbye song. So since this is a season two song, I have trivia about the season. For example, in the Portugal dub, they recasted Karen as she was originally voiced by Joana Brando in season one while Sofia Brito took over the role and Coco was voiced by Carla Garcia with Sandra De Castro becoming the new voice actress for her starting in episode 64. And speaking of Joana and Sandra, they also voiced Madame Taki in seasons one and two, respectively. And on the topic of characters with new voice actresses, in the Hebrew dub, Lucia was voiced by Anat Ehrlich Keidar and in the second season, Leni Cohen became the new voice actress for Lucia.
Oh wow! I honestly thought the lyrics would be similar to the original but these changes were even better, hopefully you can also do songs from other anime's one day like bleach, dragonball, blue dragon and tsubasa chronicles too cause those have some good songs as well
