This is great. I’m getting ready to install a fence here in PA, where deer come into my yard every day. I’m going to protect a garden and small orchard area about 75’ x 75.’ I like the double fence idea and the intention of confusing the deer depth perception makes a lot of sense. Likewise with making the gate sections go dead when not connected. Thanks especially for the tip about sinking the ground rods in a moist area. I have the perfect place to do this beside the fenced area and it should help. Keep up the great work. This tutorial is a really fine public service.
I need to try the two rows of fence with a space between the fences. I have a10 foot high fence with 14 wires and posts 8 feet apart and my voltage meter shows 9.9 thousand volts and the deer get through only wires are alternating between positive and negative as the frozen ground and snow does not give the animal a good ground. I am wondering if my latitude more than 53 degrees north has the animals growing a heavier insulated coat that protects them
i guess im asking the wrong place but does anybody know of a trick to log back into an Instagram account?? I stupidly lost the password. I would appreciate any help you can offer me
@Kase Benton i really appreciate your reply. I got to the site through google and Im trying it out atm. Looks like it's gonna take quite some time so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.

Outstanding video, just what I was looking for. Dang it looks expensive!
Parmak fencers are my number one! I use the 12 volt magnum solar. Highest output of any solar charger I have found for 300 bucks.
Great comprehensive info! Thanks.
Wish wooden post would have been discussed.
What kind of wire do you run from your creek to your energizer? And how deepshould ground rods go? Do they need to be pounded in vertically?
Great information and video! But the link to more info is broken

Does the fence work for both "Deer" and "Roe deer"? Thanks in advance
The only problem I see with the double fence for deer is how to keep grass and things mowed. It seems like it would be a pain to try and keep mowed
