Hey brother. I own a Kawasaki Z900 2017. When i shift from neutral to 1st gear the bike kicks and jerks really had while also making a clunk noise. I'm aware that it should be normal to experience this so a small degree but it worries me that my bike does it really hard and loud...any idea whats causing it?
Hi buddy it is normal to have a clunk when going into 1st gear and it can be quite loud at times but if it's really excessive check that the clutch is adjusted properly as this can cause clunky changes .
Hi lad maybe you can help, I got a z1000r 2017 and just if I push the bike over 8000rpm + and take power away the rpm falling between 6000-8000rpms the bike is shaking it’s not smooth below 6000 and aftet 8000 everything is fine this just happen in 3th gear and sometimes I have issues with the gear 3 to 4. Thanks in advance for any advice and assistance. Cheers
@@gunterbass9290 from what you say it's hard to guess what might be wrong.. it might be worth getting the bike on a rolling road ..a dyno..and just making sure the engine is running smoothly and making proper power without a misfire before turning attentions to gearbox 👍

Thanks for that, it looked like you did as the engine was upside down on the scissor jack (good bit of kit that). It's just both the manuals I looked at said remove the barrels. So it looks like turn it upside down and open up. Thanks so much for the prompt reply and your videos.

Hi there, it's just my opinion but I think it's a problem with the dogs on 4th gear, a bad batch or just weak, design, for the year maybe and the quickshifter finished them off as they are not really designed to take the hammer the shifter gives them.. only seemed to effect late 2014 - 2015 models

Does it still happen when engine running and u pull clutch in or does it go away? And there is a balancer shaft at front of engine that can be adjusted ..
