What's even more telling about how inappropriate the conversation is, is the fact that she's saying this on a podcast hosted by two single men. Instead of using the platform to talk about something biblical and uplifting, she wants to tell the world that after she's depleted from preaching, she doesn't know what to do with her body. What? You don't know what to do with your body? Sexual intimacy requires energy, so beyond her comment being highly inappropriate, how will it replenish her? It wouldn't. It would leave her more depleted. Maybe it's just me, but if you want to be replenished, wouldn't time in God's presence, his word, rest, and a good meal do the job? Dr. Turner is a beautiful woman and she knows it. Whether intentional or not, saying something like this is a way for her to get more attention. For many attractive woman like her, they can't get enough attention so they are always doing something to feed that insecurity.

Judges like Deborah who had authority over men, and I could go on. Paul's verse was about order in the church concerning the women who were shouting across the room to their husbands trying to understand what was being preached. Not the silencing of women altogether especially considering he co-labored with Priscilla.

I’m stunned! Been preaching over 20 years. Married. I usually fast before preaching. I’m in good physical shape - gym, 20 mile bike rides but when I’m done preaching I want to eat. I love my wife to death but it has never crossed my mind to go there. Also preached in 14 states, attended many conferences of pastors and preachers and I have never heard anything like this.

So I’m 33 years old now. I went to New Birth for some months when I was in middle school. What I find crazy is that New Birth as a church has over time gotten worse and worse. A church like New Birth isn’t about teaching the word or encouraging a relationship with God. It’s a place designed to make people feel good about themselves.

There was not, Ever, one time when he said that after preaching the gospel to the congregation that he needed s3x to replenish himself (and we were Married). He said after preaching, yes he feels depleted (bc he's pouring out to the people), to replenish he said he needed water (cool or room temperature/not ice cold) and a calm place to rest. It was Never - Never about anything sexual ... These things are already in the heart of Turner as she is before people, she's standing up their scouting. I will continue to say, that the Bible needs to be addressed from Genesis to Revelation every year as there are newcomers that come into a church organization all the time and they are missing a lot of information because leadership will not go back and take them through the word. Leadership know that most people are not going to read the word, which they should be doing on their own also. People are operating in face value mode they're not concerned about getting understanding because they have some things in their closet that they don't want addressed so they're okay with the jumping over benches and 2-hour long concerts as it is not praise and worship in many churches.

I was pressured for marriage by a minister, from a mega church in Miami, who stated he needed sx b4 he "preached" to prevent lasting after the women who would throw themselves after him & sx afterwards because he was depleted-needless to say I hurry & got away from him. Another "Pastor" at a small church outside of Atlanta pressed me because I had tge "look of a 1st lady" & he wanted sx after preaching too - Not with me. I have ministered plenty of times both in leading prayers, ministering in exegesis, and in the liturgical dance and EVERY SINGLE time I ministered spiritually, I would feel so exhausted and torn down physically due to the extent of the spiritually warfare that I would fight. There's noooooooo way, you can think about Segs, when you're really and truly ministering before the people. I would need prayer just to come out of that realm of fight. When you have Minister in any way you are very vulnerable. I witnessed an husband just got finished working at the altar, Kissed his wife, she lit up!!! I have never seen that before. So yes it is a real thing. Many will not say that out loud, but it is very possible and it is very real and normal.

I don't think that there is anything wrong with what she said. The church does not talk about the sexual struggles of a single person. They give you scripture and tell you not to walk after the flesh. That's good, but the real issue is not being addressed.

The church is not a building. The church is the body of Christ. The scripture that I think you’re referring to when it comes to your “ biblical “ understanding of the structure of church is in 1 Timothy 2, when Paul wrote to an Ephesians church about how they should conduct themselves in that group which was sinful bc they were teaching false doctrine and were immature in the faith. The women of that specific congregation were too immature to be able to teach or preach. Paul has addressed women as teachers and preachers in Romans and Philippians. Even on your platform, people would consider you a form of preacher because you are proclaiming the word of God, and to a considerably large audience by the way. We must read the Bible in context in order to best understand the commands God has for his people. Women can, have, and will continue to share the good news on any, and all platforms without fault. 7:25 I agree with everything else said in the video. In the Preaching Community it’s a thing. Why do you think so many traveling preachers doing weekly Monday thru Wednesday revivals be having booty calls back at the hotel at night after preaching so hard. Especially these black hooping preachers.

My spirit is deeply saddened for those under the teachings! First, when I learn of a ‘female pastorette’, immediately 1 Tim 3:1-7, especially 1 Tim 3:2 which defines qualifications of the Overseer / Pastor! My question is ‘How can a female be ‘the husband of one wife’ in Jesus the Christ’s Church? Thus, one red flag! Second, to hear Dr. Turner declare so boldly amongst males such intimate details re ‘being depleted…’ Thus, another ‘red flag’. Third, such a prideful spirit noted. Proverbs 16:18 is quite clear re pride and haughtiness, ‘destruction’ and ‘fall’! in light of this, would New Birth be considered under a spirit of apostasy, ‘the blind leading the blind’? I’m stunned! Been preaching over 20 years. Married. I usually fast before preaching. I’m in good physical shape - gym, 20 mile bike rides but when I’m done preaching I want to eat. I love my wife to death but it has never crossed my mind to go there. Also preached in 14 states, attended many conferences of pastors and preachers and I have never heard anything like this.

So I’m 33 years old now. I went to New Birth for some months when I was in middle school. What I find crazy is that New Birth as a church has over time gotten worse and worse. A church like New Birth isn’t about teaching the word or encouraging a relationship with God. It’s a place designed to make people feel good about themselves.

He said after preaching, yes he feels depleted (bc he's pouring out to the people), to replenish he said he needed water (cool or room temperature/not ice cold) and a calm place to rest. It was Never - Never about anything sexual ...

These things are already in the heart of Turner as she is before people, she's standing up their scouting. I will continue to say, that the Bible needs to be addressed from Genesis to Revelation every year as there are newcomers that come into a church organization all the time and they are missing a lot of information because leadership will not go back and take them through the word. Leadership know that most people are not going to read the word, which they should be doing on their own also. People are operating in face value mode they're not concerned about getting understanding because they have some things in their closet that they don't want addressed so they're okay with the jumping over benches and 2-hour long concerts as it is not praise and worship in many churches.

I have ministered plenty of times both in leading prayers, ministering in exegesis, and in the liturgical dance and EVERY SINGLE time I ministered spiritually, I would feel so exhausted and torn down physically due to the extent of the spiritually warfare that I would fight. There's noooooooo way, you can think about Segs, when you're really and truly ministering before the people. I would need prayer just to come out of that realm of fight. It's definitely not for the weak and fleshly minded individuals. It's literally a war!!

When you have Minister in any way you are very vulnerable. I witnessed an husband just got finished working at the altar, Kissed his wife, she lit up!!! I have never seen that before. So yes it is a real thing. Many will not say that out loud, but it is very possible and it is very real and normal.

I don't think that there is anything wrong with what she said. The church does not talk about the sexual struggles of a single person. They give you scripture and tell you not to walk after the flesh. That's good, but the real issue is not being addressed.

The church is not a building. The church is the body of Christ. The scripture that I think you’re referring to when it comes to your “ biblical “ understanding of the structure of church is in 1 Timothy 2, when Paul wrote to an Ephesians church about how they should conduct themselves in that group which was sinful bc they were teaching false doctrine and were immature in the faith. The women of that specific congregation were too immature to be able to teach or preach. Paul has addressed women as teachers and preachers in Romans and Philippians. Even on your platform, people would consider you a form of preacher because you are proclaiming the word of God, and to a considerably large audience by the way. We must read the Bible in context in order to best understand the commands God has for his people. Women can, have, and will continue to share the good news on any, and all platforms without fault. 7:25

In the Preaching Community it’s a thing. Why do you think so many traveling preachers doing weekly Monday thru Wednesday revivals be having booty calls back at the hotel at night after preaching so hard. Especially these black hooping preachers.

You've highlighted the temptation that may come with being a guest/travelling preacher where the preacher may increasingly feel a need to be "rewarded" and "comforted" in their 'good effort' in just finished preaching and being in a hotel setting. It’s 3:00 a.m. on the West Coast and Holy Spirit led me to your channel! And what a blessing I must say! Enjoyed you being used by God to biblically explain Dr. Turner’s declaration. My spirit is deeply saddened for those under the teachings!
First, when I learn of a ‘female pastorette’, immediately 1 Tim 3:1-7, especially 1 Tim 3:2 which defines qualifications of the Overseer / Pastor! My question is ‘How can a female be ‘the husband of one wife’ in Jesus the Christ’s Church? Thus, one red flag!
Second, to hear Dr. Turner declare so boldly amongst males such intimate details re ‘being depleted…’ Thus, another ‘red flag’.
Third, such a prideful spirit noted. Proverbs 16:18 is quite clear re pride and haughtiness, ‘destruction’ and ‘fall’!
in light of this, would New Birth be considered under a spirit of apostasy, ‘the blind leading the blind’?
