Great video, thanks! That would be great to have company specific videos where you discuss which industries/functions firms are stronger

Thank you, I was quite confused about which company or office I am supposed to apply and you give me new ideas about that I should focus on what industries the office is involved with more! Very useful video!

    Thanks for the informative video.
I have got an offer from PwC and Kearney, and it is overwhelming right now as I do not know which one I should go for.
PwC is a well known name in Saudi and has the highest number of projects, and has a great graduate program called Fftf, on the other hand kearney pays extremely well (around 30% higher than PwC) and considered as a strategy house.
Any advice from you will be highly appreciated!

Congratulations! Both are great firms and you can't go wrong with either. I don't know the reputation of those firms within Saudi, so please take that into account with my comments. Both firms are well known and respected globally. PwC is better known by more people. Kearny is very well respected by those that know consulting. It's a spin off of McKinsey.
One thing to consider is which division of PwC you'd be working for. If it's the Strategy & division that does strategy work, that would be an important factor in consideration. I think doing strategy work is an exceptional opportunity to learn skills that is very difficult to learn any other way in such a short period of time. You can easily work 20 - 30 years in industry or in non-strategy consulting, and not learn the skills you do in 2- 3 years doing strategy. Strategy & is the former Booz & Company consulting firm. A top 10 firm before they were acquired by PwC. Kearney is also a top 10 firm.
If you're comparing strategy division of PwC to Kearney, then the type of on the job learning experience will be similar. You'd then make your choice based on other factors (such as the type of industries the two firms work in within Saudi). If PwC is more operational consulting vs Kearney, then it comes down to whether your career goals are best served by operational consulting experience or strategy. Strategy work is an excellent step towards graduate business school (if you don't already have your MBA), startups, banking, private equity, venture capital and moving to industry at a higher level. Operational consulting is a great path for doing the same work within industry.
I would suggest asking people at both firms for examples of the types of consulting projects they have personally done in the last 12 months and ask for the job title of the senior client involved in the engagement. The job title of the client is where ex-consultants at each of those firms are on the path towards achieving later in their careers. If you do HR consulting and you clients are consistently the Vice President of Human Resources, then you will have a great start towards becoming a future VP of HR. If your client is the Chief Information Officer and you do IT consulting, you will learn some of the building blocks on how to be a future Chief Information Officer.
So the ultimate decision is based on where you want to end up in your career... and I'd be biased towards picking the firm whose senior clients most represent the career path you want to achieve or be qualified to achieve some day. Good luck with your decision making process and know that you can't go wrong with either.

@@caseinterview Thank you so much for the informative breakdown of all the factors, I really appreciate!
The offer i got is from PwC not Strategy&, the type of work will be a mix between strategy consulting and implementation. On the other hand, Kearney is solely focused on strategy.
Considering all of that, it seems like it is a no-brainer to go for Kearney, as you said strategy work gives an exceptional career growth and pays very well, which apply for Kearney more than PwC.
Thank you again, and I wish you all the best!
