14:30 no Dave. For some reason, Nintendo decided that if a POW block (or a P switch I think) is above a shell, then the shell will go right in a setup like that. If there is no pow or P above the shell it will go to the left
Actually, Ceave explains how to randomize stuff. It depends on the user input, so you have to put a challenge before such that it can neer be solved identically.
15:21 it's all depending on where the shell and the pow block is at. If the pow is above the shell, it will only go left and the opposite of the pow is bellow. If I remember correctly, it works with a p switch as well and it must be a shell that can be wore
If I'm not mistaken, when you fall down the hole, you hit the second checkpoint before you die. I don't remember how they altered the anti-softlock, though. The bit with the POW block is a glitch.
15:16 Hey DGR there is a way to make rng in Mario Maker 2 but here it was if the POW was under the contraption it was going to the left but if the pow is over the contraption than the shell will travel to the right.
14:50 no, it is based on the rule, that if there is a pow/p-switch above the spring+beetle shell combination it goes right, if there isn't it goes left, this was in Ceave's vid about seemingly impossible levels In smm2
14:25 it isn‘t 50% for boo and 50% for POW . The direction of the shell depends on the state of the pow block. when the pow block is below the shell, the shell will get to the left. if it‘s above, the shell will go to the right. I think Ceave Gaming also did a Video about this conctreption
@DGR @ 15:10 , you oughta ask Carl Sagan about this type of thing with the ''Shell Left Or Right RNG w/ Spring'' as it has something to do with the X=9 that Carl has covered 2 times now (maybe more).
The reason the shell would go left or right is because the y position if the POW relative to the spring is what determines it, if it’s above, it goes right, if it’s below, it goes left, I believe ceave made a video on it if you don’t understand.
15:12 Some objects in SMM behave differently depending on whether there is a POW block higher than them. the part @14:12 no its not a 50/50 chance, there is a thing that if a pow is above a spring the sping will bounce what ever hits it to the right, but if the pow is below the spring hits to the left
The POW block isn't rng. There's a weird mechanic that decides if a shell goes left or right depending on the presence of a pow block or p switch above the shell.
14:29 actualyyyyyyyy thats a thing called shell direction manipulation! If theres a pow block or spring above the shell, it goes right, otherwise, it goes left. When you hit that pow block up it made the boo appear, and when you didnt, the shell activated the pow!
A twice twice is a DGR coined term referring to a part of a troll level where you have to replay a previous section but this time there's something different about it. Such as bullet bill blasters blocking off your original pathway or there's a pipe you didn't go through because it was blocked off the first time. It can also mean just replaying a section that is identical but outputs you in a different place. Compare to CP1/CP2, where the level puts you back to a previous checkpoint that you already got and forces you to replay the level from that checkpoint.
Yeah... Twice twice simply means that you play a part of the level that is either the same as where you were before or at least very similar to it, except with some very different results than before. My first and very simple troll level that I ever uploaded in SMM2 has an equally simple implementation of a twice twice where I duplicated the layout of four sections (two to a pair in this case) and simply changed the order between the pairs as to which does what, and the exit in one pair is different from where it is located in its twin position from earlier in the level, similar to how the twice twice works in the level played here but without the forced death.
At 14:13, the reason this works is because if a loaded POW block or P-Switch is above a shell when it hits a spring it always goes left. If there isn't one, it will always go right. You should watch ceave gaming dave😂👍🏼
there was a second checkpoint just off screen when he jumped into the pit after being blocked by the red cannon. The music and noise covered up the checkpoint sound and then something killed him off screen.
Anyone recognize that music at the very end? For anyone wondering, that's the theme to the target mini-game on super monkey ball. I wonder if DGR can beat all the levels of Super Monkey Ball 2 Delux without falling once. Super Monkey Ball was made to trolled gamers how difficult it was.
14:04 no, if there is an item above the spring it goes left, otherwise it goes right, and you put the pow above the spring when you jumped into the quiston block
In Mario maker two if a pow block or spring is above the shell, it will always travel to the left. If there isn't one above it, the shell will travel to the right.

At 7:01 you know you can keep the fire flower right? just fall into the ones and since he's big mario and little mario he can still jump out of them.
I still didn't understand the twice twice lmaoo
there was a second checkpoint just off screen when he jumped into the pit after being blocked by the red cannon. The music and noise covered up the checkpoint sound and then something killed him off screen.

Me:I have questions
Anyone recognize that music at the very end?
For anyone wondering, that's the theme to the target mini-game on super monkey ball.
I wonder if DGR can beat all the levels of Super Monkey Ball 2 Delux without falling once.
Super Monkey Ball was made to trolled gamers how difficult it was.
I think my FAVORITE part of this level is watching the players go "404 error not found" during the CP2 troll.
Again DGR: your boy: *too scared of snake block so walks into troll*
The way he says “oil” makes my skin hurt haha. In general he sounds like every girl in my highs school. “Nwoooooo....wyaaaaait....owh myai gwosh!”
