I agree, so much is in disrepair it is difficult to see what work is required. As a Maison de Maitre at this price requiring SO MUCH work, in my opinion, this is 100k overpriced. I wish them much luck

Yes it's definitely overpriced by 100k when you add up fees ! = 46k + 370k = 410k++ that needs both rehab =$$ and remodeling =$$ . Bet if price dump to est 260k +(+46k fees) totally 300K is maybe a good price to start with..... idk it is a diamond in the rough . So much potential ❤️❤️❤️!!
I was surprised how liveable this grand house is inside. I could happily live there as is and spend many wonderful years slowly but surely restoring the house back to it's former glory, especially with a real French vibe showcase kitchen in the office area. What a treat, thx for the tour.

In my view this house needs a very professional person with the right skills to undertake the renovations to do justice to the original features of the house. The cost however, considering the water damage evident throughout and the amount of repairs, would deter quite a few people. If this could be managed however the house and grounds could be stunning.
Agree - I love the possibilities but think it's way too much for just one human to take on, and I like a challenge ! I love the panelling & all the original doors, and the beautiful windows - it is crying out for help, so sad ! I think economically it might be better to split the house into 2 semis & each would be big enough for a family - or a large gite on one side to get income in for repairing the rest of the house - use the finished side as gite ? . Clear all the junk out for a better view of what's needed in the rest of the building !
Yes it is not for the faint hearted but will make a stunning finished property!

It has a lot of the charm left inside, and It has a lovely garden. The only thing is the price of the home, and all the work that it needs to restore it to the manor it once was. Thank you for sharing this.

Wow, wow, wow!!! This place is incredible! This is definitely a diamond in the rough and the fortunate person who can afford to buy this will have one gorgeous piece of property with some updating, paint and perhaps beautiful wallpaper and finished floors. This is the kind of house that I can only dream of, but I sure do appreciate the opportunity to get to view it.

416K , when you add up price and fees on a home . It's is a beauty, that needs both remodeling and rehab is too high. All Fees =46k . If price reduction to home reduction to 300k +fees 46k =346K still to high due to needs rehab. I bet if price + fees = 300K it would sell . It such a beautiful house ton of space and potential ♥️😁 really love this one . Thank you Susan for showing this gorgeous home 🏡 ❤️

This is a fascinating house with many of its original features intact awaiting restoration. It needs a major investment beginning with heating, electrical and plumbing systems, but in the end you would have such a grand place! It has potential as a B&B, with separate stairways to the several accommodation units.
