That OH position for Long Beach is so stacked rn, you have Sotiris Siapanis and Spencer Olivier starting, with Skyler Varga AND Nate Harlan (who showed he can perform in the NCAA Semi's last season) in the reserves. Really excited to watch this season unfold.
At 1:50 ish when the libero (#3) goes to cover, he runs off to the right side instead of staying on the left, is this so he can stay out of the middle's way here or something else? If the play continued after that, would he just run back over to his usual spot on the left?
As weird as it sounds I think Long Beach will be a better team without Nikolov. They had the single best player last season but volleyball is a team sport and as it was seen in the finals, they just weren’t playing well as a team. They were way too dependent on Nikolov and him alone wasn’t going to get the job done
midseason form for LBSU... great volleyball from both teams... Dont want to single anyone out but Mason Briggs for LBSU and Sam Cooper for McMaster - wow.
Why are people so pressed about the camera angle? By far the best angle to fully immerse yourself in the game
Noobs 🤷🏼♂️
as a canadian i love to see these crossovers its so fun!
I love this angle because it really shows how fast these guys are playing. Thanks for the upload!
Glad you enjoy it!
Same, best way to watch the game
briggs is such a beauty
what an exciting game!! so many great plays from both sides.
8:04 siapanis is a nut for this
Really excited for the rest of these, best match VODS on RUclips. FPS seems off on this one though.
I just need to know where everyone gets these camera angles
I take my camera, and put it behind the baseline 🤷🏼♂️

What a rally at 11:35 !
Thanx for uploading this match
Briggs has to be one of the best Liberos I've ever seen. Wow.
Went to high school with him, he’s a great guy

Where did he go?
@@flylitpilot4202 He's playing pro in Italy now
This would’ve been a absolutely horrid take even back then
Those sets are so quick damn

sick game! drop game 2!
cooper is crazy
Sick camera angle!
It’s gonna be interesting to see how LB is without Nikolov.
And I thought guys like Briggs and Holdaway graduated already?
Is McMaster the top collegiate team in Canada?
They’re the best ontario university. But CanWest #1 is UofA
@@nathanmusschoot They're damn good. There seems to be so much Canadian talent. Will definitely have to look up CanWest. Thanks!
Historically Top 3 but would say Top 5 this year. Solid squad but don't have the depth they usually do.
@@nathanmusschoot thanks Nathan!
mason briggs coulda saved the titanic
Who’s is this cooper dude is insane
Played with the national team at VNL last year
1:06 mmmmm
Of all possible places to put the camera, some genius decided to put on the floor. Just genius.
I think I’m a genius too!
Idk what you mean dude. This is literally one of the best angle to really analyze what each player doing and study them
Fr, good quality full game footage like this with just the rallies is basically a poor man’s volleymetrics
@@jiaweihong3035 Nah! Have you ever heard of a tripod? There's a reason they were invented.
The camera is sitting on a tripod?
Why does the commentator say the same thing over and over like a bot
