What's that?
The curved crimp wasn't accidentally implemented into the game, they knew exactly what they were doing and how players would interpret it, it's not a reference to a rumour.

100 players were given 1200 and 10000 got 120. We just got unlucky :(
@Oddiffy This video literally acknowledges that they have 100 MILLION players. Yet they chose to only let less than 1% of them actually benefit from the ticket. If not everyone with one it should have at least been a higher ratio. 100k, or even 1million players should have gotten picked. That would STILL only be 1% of players.

Only 0.0101% of people got something better than two packs.
BUT DeNA did hand out maybe ~ 120,130,120 pack hourglasses from the advance ticket alone (assuming 5 million people claim it). It’s most likely more than that. (1200 * 100) + (120 * 10,000) + (24 * 5,000,000)
If we were to convert that to pokégold, it’s like 8-9 million dollars worth of pokegold in hourglasses. (Obv the majority of players don’t buy gold tho)
As much as I would have liked to choose any card or whatever… this is pokemon and DeNA we’re talking about

@ReKP_Oh I'm highly positive a hefty majority of the "randomly" selected accounts were those that say "last login 8 months ago" and will never actually claim the prize if it even actually exists in the first place.

Something I noticed with all these epic people in the trailer is that they're all playing the game out and about; they're at the hair salon, at the park, at a restaurant, etc... then there's me just playing this at home, alone LOL

This is the first mobile game I’ve played for a year straight and still had fun (the rest were sunk cost fallacy). Highlight for me was going to Worlds and playing in the Pocket side tourney and getting top 64! Congrats on one year of a great game!

This game is a underrated gem.. one of the most beautiful aspects is you can actually receive and send cards and help others complete their collections while completing your own. Pretty different from Gachas I had played
This app has changed so much on my thoughts on the tgc, and to believe it's already been a whole year, it's incredible
Likewise, the combats on ptcgp were so annoyingly rng-dependant that i decided to try the actual tcg to find somthg better, and that one is actually fun!
@j.a.m.mFortunately the meta has moved quite a lot since Mysterious Island and now we have much less rng so I'd recommend trying the current ptcg battles
@lambdalektereven then, even the card draw process is very unreliable, especially against ptcgl, same for the starting coin flip

Thickness of the pack??? I thought it was just bent corners, do the packs actually have thickness differences?
@ThatGirlKimThere's actually 3 myth for it. the first is the infamous bent corners, the second is the thickness of the pack and the last one is the crimp pattern of the Pack (the seal of the pack looks bigger than the usual or didn't look like it was sealed properly). hope this explains it

Aw, that's sweet. Can't believe it's been a year, I just kinda jumped on this game around February this year. Mostly just collected my favorite Pokémon, but I dabbled in battle here and there. Hope the game continues to go strong in the future

THis game made me relive my childhood again! After playing TCG pocket, it made me interested to try TCG live ( although i hate the user interface on live) . A request to TCG pocket , if u r reading this comment :
1) Please please increase the number of BINDERS. Some collectors like us , wants to show and keep our favourite cards in the binder. With increasing number of cards, it requires a 30-40 binders now.
2) Sometimes , its not fun to play with 20 cards only. Few cards are used. It becomes more luck than strategy. I feel that Pokemon fans love to use their cards in game, and sometimes, it's hard to pick in 20 card game and u pick only the ones u win. I feel like the game modes should be 4 of them:
1) 20 card game
2) 30 card game
3) 40 card game
4) 50 card game
Please make this changes. I think this game is ONE of the best with its design, user interface ( LOVE IT SO MUCH) and the nostalgia it brings --- I am 33 years old, living my childhood now again. Thanks to TCG POCKET!!!!!!
