I wish I could do that! I love 💘 watching how to but don't think I could do it myself! I'm so happy 😊 for you guys how God has blessed 🙌 💖 you with all that!
It wasn’t too hard...just very hot to do it when we did. Probably would’ve been better off to do it first thing in the morning. We are very blessed! Thanks, Baroness!
Oh wow we didn't know that you had this series of videos! :) Of all of the HT drip irrigation videos out there, this one has helped us the most, so Thank You for doing this!!! We're amazed at the goals, plans, and similarities between your place and ours. We're five years behind, but getting there. ;) lol
Thank you. I bet, judging from your comment, that you are fairly delightful human, too. I hope you have good success with your high tunnel irrigation. My way is super simple but effective.
WOW YOU GOT YOUR IRRIGATION SET UP THAT’S AWESOME 👏 IT REALLY LOOKS FAIRLY STRAIGHT FORWARD AND DIDN’T TAKE YOU TOO LONG, REALLY GREAT VALUE FOR MONEY, MUCH CHEAPER THAN I WOULD HAVE THOUGHT! HAHA 🤣 RATHER ENJOYED THAT LIL SERENADE, GET YOUR TUESDAY GROOVE ON!! THAT WAS A BLAST FROM THE PAST, WAS IT JENNIFER PAIGE WHO SANG THAT? I DON’T REMEMBER, GOOD TUNE THOUGH 😂 GOOD SEEING YOU AGAIN RUIA 👋
Copperhead Road Homestead HAHA 🤣 THAT WAS THE HIGHLIGHT FOR SURE!! I DEFINITELY CAN RELATE, WHEN THAT TUNE POPS IN YOUR HEAD AND THE BEAT HITS YOU GOTTA SHAKE WHAT YOUR MAMA GAVE YA!!
Nice Setup! I like all the valves! I've worked in a maintenance type job for many years, That's one of the items people want to skip, valves, switches, couplings, etc. Makes things easier later on...
I would put an inline filter before it gets into your tunnel even though you have good water iron and calcium build ups happen and it plugs those valves so filter water before it goes into the tunnel! Great job and thanks for sharing God bless! Tony
I'm just getting started on my high tunnel; placing an order next week. So in the meantime researching irrigation. I plan on running 4 lines of tape per row; so depending on what I pant 1 can turn on 1-4 lines as needed. for the end, you can also fold over 1-2 times, fold in 1/2 then slip a short piece of tape over; cheaper then those leaky end caps.
Four lines would put out lots of water! That would work at the end...I might do that in the future instead of buying more of those ends...though they were inexpensive enough. Congrats on getting a high tunnel!
That's a really awesome setup ! I always thought it would be really complicated as well . You made it look pretty easy though . Were did you get the supplies ?
There is a supplier near us. Deerfield supplies in Elkton, KY. We might have been able to find better prices online...maybe check with a local nursery and see where they get theirs from?

You are a delightful human. Thanks for this. I have a EQIP tunnel up and am getting ready to install the irrigation.

Oh yeah! I’ve come across several places I wish there were valves and not had them. Better to pay a little extra up from and get them then!
Wow that’s a lot nicer and simpler than we did it back in the day! You’ll be in business in no time flat!!!
You know a lot of strange songs 🥴
You do! Ha!
This was a great video I enjoyed it I now kno how I'm doing my raised beds next year for watering
Yes! It was so much easier than I thought it would be.

I think you’re right. We have great water, but we will probably end up getting a filter for it. God bless you and thank you!

Warm water helps to soften the pipe so it easier to connect parts
It wasn’t too bad. But that’s a great tip!
I would put that battery in a box and get it up off the ground a bit.
Ha! The agent from the USDA said the same thing. It has been off the ground for the past few months now!

@@CopperheadRoadHomestead I thought if I got something like this I would get a kit so I knew what all I needed .
I went to Deerfield supplies and told them I had a high tunnel and I needed irrigation. They told me this stuff was what I needed. Very easy.
@@CopperheadRoadHomestead Awesome !
@@CopperheadRoadHomestead It wont let me go to the comment you just left for some reason . Yeah it tore my butt up .
What diameter header manifold did you use?
One inch.
