Sir, I did the SAP MM certification and looking for job.
Certification is not mandatory but you have to learn properly. If you have knowledge and skill, you must get jobs. Nobody can't stop you. Do focus on skill and knowledge as well as communicate through LinkedIn, Recruiters, Job Portals, etc.

Now you have to decide what you want to do. You can start with SAP FICO Module as you are from commerce background.

Why you will be an end user? You have to prepare yourself as SAP Consultant where you can learn configuration part.

You can go with the SAP MM Module. But you can also go with SAP PP & QM modules which are also very demanding in market.
Though you have quality experience then you can utilize it to the sap QM (Quality Management) module.
