Not gonna lie I cried watching this, like I do every time I watch a Ray Bourque career video. Not even a Bruins or Avalanche fan but this is just perfect how the Stanley Cup means so much ❤️🏆
The handoff from Mr Sakic gets me misty every time haha. And I’m an isles fan. Any time I picture the cup being handed out I picture Bourke and Ovi getting it. Gotta love this goddamn game. It’s the best. Now LGI!!!!
@@MSZFilms also worth noting that his career, as great as it was, could’ve been even more legendary. I still remember, growing up as an Avs fan in the 2000s, watching Sakic’s final season, and his retirement announcement. It’s a fun thought process to wonder how much better he may have been if he wasn’t getting run over constantly
If only Bourque played in the 21st century! The game was too open and too many great players in his playing days. But his storybook ending was spectacular! So happy to have watched him win the Cup on TV.
I honestly loved how you did the commentary right up until it went into playoff mode and just let the story tell itself...That's the beauty of sports and it too honestly brought a tear to my eye watching the ending
Last time I'm going to try and re-upload this one, hopefully youtube likes this one🙏
BRAND NEW Video coming 🔜

Salute to Ray from Boston. That man gave us his all and I was so happy for him to get the Cup like most Boston fans. He deserved it!!!
One of the best passings of the cup in history from Sakic to Borque!
*the best

My favorite moment of all-time like a Hockey Fan
As a hockey fan you can't get help but get a little teary eyes for #77. Can't go out a better way than that!!!
This was a treat to watch
To hear them scream for a hero in Boston where I’m from , Colorado showed , well everyone who loves hockey the LOVE .
It wasn’t the Eastern Conference in the early 1980s and wouldn’t be until October 1993. It was the Wales Conference, named for the Prince of Wales.
My bad g it’s a bad force of habit I have, gotta remember that lmao
After this video, I can’t help but want to hear you talk about the career of Sakic, by far one of the best goal scorers to ever play the game
Also one of the most clutch 👀

The greatest two way defenceman the nhl has ever seen without doubt
if anyone deserved a cup it was Ray Borque
One of the greats.
At the All Star game weekend in San Jose, Ray said he wants to be a Bruin forever. So I wasn’t happy when he left.
He didn’t want to leave. But he had a lifelong dream that Boston couldn’t help with. He’ll be a bruin for eternity though.
Joe Sakic is a class act handing that cup right to Ray Bourque.

love ray
Everybody love Ray
its not just that Sakic handed the cup to Ray first. its that Ray was the first to lift it above his head, Joe let Ray have that honor as well.
There will never be a captain like Ray .
