I have a Targa 46 here in Puget Sound, and it is hands down the best boat I have ever owned. It is well built, practical, and extremely functional. Customer service is also second to none. I've run it from Seattle to Southeast Alaska. It eats up 2.5 meter seas, and you never feel like you need to run for shelter.
The big boats are nice to look at. This Targa is much easier to imagine owning and using. Your format, unlike others, works very well at being personal and focused.
Tonka describes these boats well, built like a brick out house and will never break. Love the layout on this, it is so spacious for the size and as great fixtures and fittings. Unless I win big on the lottery I will never see £830,00 but I think for what you get this is a great price in the boat world. Great tour Nick thank you.
This is their widest targa yet. Just imagine the stability under way. Targa 37 is 3.5m. the 46 is 3.95m. This one is 4.0m wide. That being said. lovely video. Targa 37s,27s and 25s are very common in Greenland. Many are being used for charters and privately. best boat for comfort in all weather.
@dougdavis8986 but gaining so much practicality and utility. Most of the Targas can be handled alone due to the walk around. Having 2 side access doors and aft door makes docking an ease. Passengers can move around more freely. If you want space inside than a Targa. Then Targa is not for you. ☺️ Still a gorgeous boat and a beast at sea
This type of yacht always makes me so happy! Everything you actually need is included, top efficiency and it looks beautiful. Who cares if you have such a beautifull Botnia Targa? Tough yet graceful. I'll put it on my wish list. 🥰 Thanks as always, Nick!
What a fabulous boat, practical, sensible, sturdy, a boat built properly the helm is a case in point. Nice owner cabin and guest accommodations sensible planned. Love the wood used in the interior. The exterior and Flybridge has exactly what you need as a day, weekend or a week liesure type of boat, or a work boat on lakes or a coastal boat or an island hopper. Like her.
What a stunning highly stable, nippy and safe craft. Easy to use owner managed especially for the variable sea conditions around the UK coast. Always enjoyed a bit of choppy sea conditions. Nice one Nick 😄
The previous comments point out the important qualities of this ship (for me it's more than a boat). I would consider it for a living aboard vessel, given her characteristics and seakeeping properties. Thank you, Nick!
Nice, I like that Botnia doesn't try to be what it's not. No pretending to be a luxury yacht, and I really like these. I love that aft cabin, lots of options. Great SUVs of the water, maybe not the best at anything, but very good at what you really want, unless you need that luxury.
A boat for boating, not boozing. What a novel concept! A little bit confused why this is more expensive than its bigger sister, but I suppose it's the way things go. Thanks for the tour!
It's no Gulf Craft Majesty 175 but Mr Burnham sir it's always great to see a brand new model and being a Botnia which we've not seen one for a good time is a bonus. Nick I like your analogies of 4x4s of boating and built like a Tonka toy(that brought back memories of my childhood 😂) and for the region of the world it was designed for and for daily use commuting etc these boats are fantastic, definitely no plastic show pony. Top tour as per Nick all the best from Cornwall 🤗🖖✌️
This boat reminded me of the Redbay boat you went to the Skelligs aboard. I had to look it up. The Redbay appeared more bulletproof, while this one looks bulletproof but with some higher end finishes and creature comforts. Two different boats and price points for different uses. Another great tour and learning experience. Thanks Nick!
Great to see that you've finally mastered the double latch on the engine hatch. At least this one wasn't covered by a mat. But another great review. I particularly liked the Tonka reference. Well done Nick.
I really like everything about this boat. Would like an outside grill and a sliding door going into the day heads would make more sense but apart from that it’s perfect. pottering along at 8 knots would do me without having to do much thinking
Stunning! If my numbers came up in the lottery 3 minutes ago I’m ordering one of these tomorrow. I’ll see if I can get you some commission Nick!! 😂😂 The spec is perfect too, love the black rails and the grey decking. Thank you for the tour!
Tanka, wow, I had one of their jeeps as a kid. That thing was indestructible, I would lay on top of it and ride it up and down the hall. Loved that Jeep… the boat look like it would be indestructible…
Hi Nick, I absolutely love this, In fact i love all the Botnia boats. This would suit the moray firth and would cross the Pentland firth as well on your way to Orkney and beyond. Very much my cup of whisky.😁👍🏴
Great tour Nick, there's one of these next to me in Ocean Village, but spec'd with the teak trim rather than black powdercoat. They look as good as they go! 👍
Hi Nick, Nice this is very nice this new Botnia Targa 41 with some nice new features like the hull windows ans the fluss windows around the bridge and a nice surprise that Bornia still use the analoge gauges profesional sea men like that more great but typecal for the Botnia that aft fly bridge i like that the only thing when they will start with hybrid engines or electric Thanks Nick great show ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I do love boats such as this, more capable than than needed, however you can relax if the weather turns unexpectedly as that beast will shrug off the elements
Well I for 1 want to thank you for bringing us all these lovely boats. But unfortunately every one seems to not quite reach my dream craft. So theirfore my only option is to design and build my own super yacht now where did I put them crayons.😂😂😂. Seriously I do appreciate you spending your time sharing and showing us these boats.
Everytime you tour a Targa for us it makes me want one. And a new one to get the newest and best thing going in the water. The only thing I think this piece of kut needs is a Seakeeper! Not certain I could survive on a boat smaller than a US Ford class aircraft carrier.
Its a nice boat, very traditional timber work which is very embracing after all the modern finishes on most newer boats. This seems to be a bad month for deck hatches Nick 😄
Lovely boats, I looked at a used 40' in Phuket, Thailand, but it didn't have genny/air-con which is a must here. But it did come with the center berth, in the center🙂 We went for the Bavaria R40 Fly, instead, at Euro 512K. Biggest genny and aircon options. Two large cabins, with separate toilets and separate large shower cubicles. The build quality is obviously not the same as the Targa, but the Bavaria offers a fair bit more space.
Well Nick, another "job well done" - this is a really nice boat with a wealth of options, and quite nice accommodation for its size.... and yes, "a serious bit of kit".....but... if you really want a "serious bit of kit" you should try and get in contact with Mark from "awanui NZ" which is a Nordhavn 51 - Hull nbr. 01 actually - and do a "meet the owner" He has his own YT channel, and his videos are a marvel!! for anyone liking the trawler lifestyle his channel is a must!! I would love to see a meet the owner (and more) with the two of you!! Thank you for a well done walkthrough
Great tour. To be honest, I don't think the shower in the day heads is actually a shower as such but a bidet shower, which is very common accessory for toilets in Finland.
Love the ruggedness and everything else except the dinosaur analogue gauges. 2 screens immediately give you resilience. I own a self driving car that I trust to drive me at high speeds on the motorways with no single point of failure and with absolute not a single analogue gauge that is a single point of failure
Sorry but you don’t really know what you talk about. There’s an endless line of professional captains who’ve urged for more analog back. There’s been many big yacht accidents in the last three years alone directly linked to the lack of analog.
If you arrive to a guest harbour in Finland in one of these everybody there knows that you are a serious boater. Also that you propably are very well off. But in one of these in the evening it is perfectly fine to enjoy your Koskenkorva, perhaps from a coffee thermos with also coffee in it. Or a Karhu beer straight from the bottle. No need for champagne, or crystal glasses. And you dress in whatever, most propably in a HH jackets in some of the classic colors and very worn sailing shoes. Way to go boating, if you can afford it.
Absolutely beautiful boat.... Very well presented as always Nick, but the weather over there is hot? because I saw you outside just dressing a shirt, there is not cold? Here in middle France is freezing 🥶!
In the colonies nearly half the Baby Boomer couples have gone their separate ways. Attrition, and diverse adventure choices. There are clubs and organizations for nearly every ilk. This boat would be ideal for a Boomer single or a start over couple live aboard. Just enough room to not be claustrophobic but not enough so\]pace to allow for hoarding. And\ stout enough to be a four seasons home on the water. Very nice vessel.
Nick, the Botnia Targa 41 being an "all weather boat" needs a grab-rail down the center of the roof, as well as additional hand grab-rail would complete this boat. The black powder coating on the railings add's a sophisticated look, with the practicality of low... maintenance
It would suit me very well indeed. The pilot house is perfect for English weather. Trouble is the price takes nearly all my retirement investments. So not a realistic prospect.
The comments about the wasted length of having a swim platform just adding length and therefore cost. As opposed to a lifting platform must consider what is beneath them? The stern drives are part of the LOA.
"this cannot go out of fashion because it's not in fashion in the first place" hahahaha but more seriously, did I just watch an Aquaholic tour without a mirror wave??? Doesn't seem right :)
Hi!!! No generator Nick?? Great video by the way!! You said 300 to 350 nautical miles range. Is that at cruising speed??? Thanks and take care, Jersey Lou
I have a Targa 46 here in Puget Sound, and it is hands down the best boat I have ever owned. It is well built, practical, and extremely functional. Customer service is also second to none.

Thank you for this comment. I live in Seattle as well, and this looks like the boat for our area!
Nice!
I'm in Victoria BC. These definitely look like they are perfect for the pnw
One in my marina in Port Moody. ‘Tough Boris’ I think. Gorgeous boat. Perfect for PNW
The big boats are nice to look at. This Targa is much easier to imagine owning and using. Your format, unlike others, works very well at being personal and focused.
Glad you like it 🙂

You are very welcome!
Great boat for the money, practical, spacious, stylish and fast. What more could you ask for. Great tour as per usual, Nick. Thank you.
My pleasure!
This is a “the seas are only 10’ so it’ll be an uneventful day” kind of boat. Rock solid!! Another superb video as always!!
Glad you enjoyed it! 🙂
You lose so much cabin space with that full walk around.
@ not for me then. Anyone can handle any 37’ boat solo. I’m not paying $1million for a fiberglass walkway.
Great Little all weather runaround.. Engine access one of the best for size. Nice tour Nick cheers 😊👍
Glad you enjoyed it!
Lovely. A practical boat in every way for less than a million. Thanks Nick.
Glad you enjoyed it!
This is very nice and there is so much included in the vessel to make it feel much bigger than it is! Thank you as always. 🍷
Welcome as always!
Brilliant tour of a superb boat.
Love all Targa’s and this one just brings them a little more current without ruining the Botnia heritage.
This type of yacht always makes me so happy! Everything you actually need is included, top efficiency and it looks beautiful. Who cares if you have such a beautifull Botnia Targa? Tough yet graceful. I'll put it on my wish list. 🥰

If Tonka made a boat it would probably be like these, solid and no nonsense. Great video.
Glad you enjoyed it! 🙂
Stunning boat and I love that aft cabin...who needs a house when you could quite comfortably live on this
Very practical for those who want a boat and not a house.
I'm always partial to Targas, and this one is no exception. Thanks for the tour, Nick :)
Glad you enjoyed it!
Beautiful sturdy tool of a boat, great 😀Thanks for the tour 😊
I’ve always liked the Bonita Targa. This one doesn’t disappoint
It's such a dream boat. And yes I totally prefer your tours de force over some other channels.
The previous comments point out the important qualities of this ship (for me it's more than a boat). I would consider it for a living aboard vessel, given her characteristics and seakeeping properties.

It probably isn't at today's prices.
Brilliant tour of an awesome boat. I've seen you do so many Botnia, Sargo and Nordstar models, but there is always something new.
Glad you enjoyed it! 🙂
Great video and boat. Nice little boat with good sea capabilities. 🇦🇺 😀
Thanks!
It's no Gulf Craft Majesty 175 but Mr Burnham sir it's always great to see a brand new model and being a Botnia which we've not seen one for a good time is a bonus. Sweet little boat tbh ❤

Happy Friday nick 🎉
And to you!
It does look like its built like a tank. Great boat, I wouldn't say no to owning one. Thank you for taking us on a tour of her Nick
Thank you for watching!
Interesting boat. I notice that the inside helm is on the starboard side and the fly bridge is on the port side, very practical.
Tanka, wow, I had one of their jeeps as a kid. That thing was indestructible, I would lay on top of it and ride it up and down the hall. Loved that Jeep… the boat look like it would be indestructible…
Very practical boat nick for what it is intended
Another great video. Lovely boat tks nick
No worries 🙂
Ideal for a weekend fishing very practical and comfortable boat👍
Nice boat! Thanks for sharing! Looks very functional! Keep those cameras rolling, Nick! 👍👍
Thanks for watching! 😃
@AQUAHOLIC 👍👍
Hi as you say a serious piece of kit , built for purpose , thanks Nick .
Glad you liked it! 🙂
This is my dream boat!
wow that engine compartment is very get at able!! very nice!! 👍👍

Terrific boat.
Nicely done. Another great tour.
Thank you!
I do like the Targa boats, I have seen many of them on the Solent
I do love boats such as this, more capable than than needed, however you can relax if the weather turns unexpectedly as that beast will shrug off the elements
I would love to see you on board a Bering fault!🎉

To the square!! 🇫🇮
Very practical nick fir what boat is intended
Hi Nick nice..as usual its good for me on the western isles...especialy Islay...and for the Scottish weather its enclosed...😂...SSG
Like a proper weekender dayboat
My absolute Dream boat! (The Targa, not you Nick, sorry!😊) Great video as ever Nick!
Dammit! 😄
Its a nice boat, very traditional timber work which is very embracing after all the modern finishes on most newer boats.
This seems to be a bad month for deck hatches Nick 😄
😳
That's my favourite yet.
Good afternoon nick lovely boat 🚤🛥⛵️👍👍👍👏👏👏👏
Hey JQ!

Agreed, the Bavaria is far more about living on, the Targa about going. Both good boats in different ways.

You’re on top of it Nick wish you well buddy❤️⚓️
Great tour. To be honest, I don't think the shower in the day heads is actually a shower as such but a bidet shower, which is very common accessory for toilets in Finland.
they make fantastic boats
Many thanks for this video!
You're welcome!
Great video! Greetings from Finland
To the square!! 🇫🇮
I enjoyed watching the Video
Glad you enjoyed it! 🙂
That’s a nice one Nick!!⚓️❤️⚓️❤️
Thank you!
Great Boat Nick Sir.. Looking great 😊
Many thanks
@AQUAHOLIC My pleasure Sir.. God bless you 🙏
❤love those boats🎉

Im going to have my own one day, i just need to figure out how. Botnia Has never failed with their boats.
What a great boat

This was filmed at the Southampton boat show a couple of months back and the weather was great for most of it. Definitely not as nice now...
I think Botnia Targa still makes my favorite boats, one day I will ask them to build a Botnia 60 for me... 😎
That would be something..!
Fantástico 👍🏼🤝🇨🇴
Everytime you review a Targa I buy another lottery ticket 😂
🤞
Remove flybridge so its a cupe cab. And twin verado600 instead the old diesels then you got a great boat💥
Botnia is special.!
When ! I win the lottery I have realised I need to spend at least a million pounds to get the boat I aspire too 🤣 😀
In the colonies nearly half the Baby Boomer couples have gone their separate ways. Attrition, and diverse adventure choices. There are clubs and organizations for nearly every ilk. are they going to do a newer version of the 3 cabin?
I'n not boat guy. But Finn. I think these boat are based to be used police and coastguard. Of course different interior for those.
It would suit me very well
indeed. The pilot house
is perfect for English weather. Trouble is the
price takes nearly all
my retirement investments. So not

🙆🙆🙆.. NOOOO Dishwasher 🤷.... No ..I refuse to keep washing up 5 times a day cus you DO ! 😂😂😂👍🏴
I can say that it's not the best video because there is no mirror wave 🥲love what you do Nick!!❤
Does the Targa 41 gives you the option of two IPS drives?
The comments about the wasted length of having a swim platform just adding length and therefore cost. As opposed to a lifting platform must consider what is beneath them? The stern drives are part of the LOA.
"this cannot go out of fashion because it's not in fashion in the first place" hahahaha but more seriously, did I just watch an Aquaholic tour without a mirror wave??? Doesn't seem right :)
Is this considered an oceanworthy vessel?
I'll have 2 please when I get the Euro millions up .
Hi!!! No generator Nick?? Great video by the way!! You said 300 to 350 nautical miles range. Is that at cruising speed???
Thanks and take care,
Jersey Lou
It doesn't need a generator - gas hob, no air conditioning (UK spec), diesel heating. Yes, at planing speeds.
