😊😊I like your line, “does life need to have a narrative?”
Sounds right up my alley. Off to find a copy.
Ooh, enjoy!
Second review in a row that gives me hope that it's a book for me!
Aha, fingers crossed
I really enjoyed it too - kind of reminded me a bit of Rachel Cusk’s Outline in that we are hearing about the narrator’s interactions with other people and through that we learn a bit about them. I think the order of the sections was an interesting choice too (but don’t want to say more here!). I also think there is quite a lot of mental health issues brought up in the book.
Oooh, I need to read the Outline trilogy- I’m intrigued by everything I hear about them.
And yes! The ordering was very interesting!
"Do I have a strong sense of Bobness?" is my sentence of the day. I enjoyed The Details but it didn't make a lasting impression.
😆 Loved the “Bobness.”
Ahaha, thank you!
It's a fantastic fever dream of a novel. Desperately waiting for all her novels to be translated. Someone? Anyone? Pretty Please!! 😍😍
Ooh, yes! It would be so great to read more of hers!
