good decision to pull engine apart. It takes one of those shavings wedged into either crank or conrod bearing to seize motor again. I am frankly amazed that cylinder survived.
@fullmetalmachinist3883 I'm really not motivated to pull it apart , but you're right it's the only way to do the job correctly. That junk needs to be totally cleaned out and inspected.
