Picked this up on eBay for £50, Bargain! Awesome figure. I believe I got a newer version which has the elbow joints recoloured and the equipment launcher bottom piece fix which is now a peg instead of a fragile piece that breaks easily
I have the same thoughts as you with this 😭😭 when I first got mine I was pretty excited, just to be disappointed with how loose the joints were for my copy it was mainly just the legs being loose as hell I got the figma to replace the McFarlane because it looked the best when standing the figma is now doing the exact same thing and just standing in my display
@@Luke_FM They released a newer, better version!? That kinda sucks for those that pre-ordered it originally, do you have any links to comparison pics or anything that spec's out the exact differences?
@@eightbitmonk basically, my model has a translucent visor piece (not painted, just the bluish greenish visor colour), correctly painted elbow joints and on the equipment launcher where it normally breaks there is a pin/peg swivel mechanism instead. I got mine for a steal of £50 on eBay.
got the figure as well still have mine because its still better then the mcfarlane but thats not saying much god i wish any company besides figma would have made the figure
The McFarlane was a stiff brick of plastic for a good price, this is stupidly expensive and a floppy gappy nightmare. Definitely snagging the KO and taking out most of the figma bits and replacing with McFarlane bits or just ball joints. Fantastic mold but way too overly engineered.
I love my doomslayer but both of his hands are really stiff arms and I was thinking to use the traxxas shock oil that you have, but is it safe for it to use the figure?
@@toyshelv Superglue is a more perm fix. You can either work it in without letting it dry, or remove the legs and apply a coat over the balljoint and let it dry to create an extra layer for more friction.
@@Paragon132the second version is better, also eBay has some good deals if u find a real one, I got the new version for £50. (The newer version has elbow joints recoloured and less fragile/peg-in flame belch launcher)
Also the flame belch broke very easily, i got a replacement part from nin-nin and now if I wanna display him with the belch stowed away I take off the whole arm, pop off the head of the flame belch from the assembly and pop it on to the ball
I hope neca or storm collectibles makes a doom slayer figure.

Those brighter flesh colored elbow joints are a bummer as well, they really stand out. I kept mine just to have some Doom on the shelf.
In the newer version they fixed this, as well as the equipment launcher having a peg attachment rather than being very fragile

I feel like tamashii nations would’ve done well and who knows they might have done an imp, zombie or infected soldier
@ I would have wanted 1000 toys to do it they tend to do buff and armored characters well
Figma have been shitting the bed a lot recently, I hope their 2.0 Guyver isn't as bad.
Same here...
I say "no more Figma!" then I POd this. Then I said "no more figma!" and I POd Samus. No more Figma!

THIS REVIEW WAS SOOO GOOD!! Definitely gonna check out your other reviews👍
멋진 포즈와 멋진 연출....그렇지 못한 관절 고정력....
looks good but i'd rather buy the mcfarlane one and paint it myself 😂those joints are just unacceptable for the price
Just put floor polish on loose joints?
Ehhh temporary messy fix, I've had joints break after polish. I'm more for loosening parts than tightening them

Is it just me who thinks his proportions are really off something about his arms and legs look real off to me
Way too much expensive for a plastic 6 inch figure 🙄
