Sir, you are life saver. I learn more from 10-15 min video then whole week sitting in class. Thank you very much for all you effort. Keep up the good work.
math is hard for just about everyone (me too) - not all things in life are simple. keep studying and you will be surprised at how easy it all becomes!! : )
bro thank you so much, why is this the only youtube video that actually explains how to multiply the rest of the numbers in order like, your a life saver my guy
@patrickJMT hey man, i just want to say thank you, ive started my BSc in banking and Finance and were doing statistics now, ive been following you instead of my tutor and im seeing wonderful results. Thank you man for all the integrals and derivatives and continue to post man.
You are awesome man! I'm currently about to take my ASVAB test to join the Airforce and since I graduated in 2007, I can't remember everything I learned in HS. This video and many more that you have make it super easy for me and I'm sure I will do awesome on the test. Thank you for the videos and the work you put into them!
The explanation of 0 factorial is missing here, yet it's very important to understand, because the idea of factorial comes from the set theory, where you need to find all possible way to order all elements in a set. 0! Represents a set with 0 element, it has only 1 possible outcome of ordering it, which is the set itself
Thanks for putting this up. It was really helpful to have a concrete review of how factorials work now that I'm doing things with infinite n! in calculus.
ik the feeling, teachers are way too fast-paced so they can pump out every chapter they're forced to teach until the end of the year. It completely ruins education
Thanks for the refresher! Or this video is actually pretty sweet! I can learn something out of these videos! Free learning! I love that! If you wanna stress your brain with math, you got to do factorials. I tried 8! In my head but i kept forgetting numbers that I need to work with so I have to go all the way back to start from the beginning of the sum. I hate it when that happens! Haha.
Yeah definately a great tutorial, well spoken and illustrated. Would you say that just constantly doing lots of questions would imrpove your skill in that area, or is it better to focus on the formulas and logistics behind it?
OOoooohh I get it so, 35! 10!/ 23! 6! = (35*34*33*32*31*30*29*28*27*26*25*24) (10*9*8*7) because I simplified the 35! with the 23! first and then the 10! with the 6! second. Although that would still take a long time to solve. If you didn't completely solve it it would change to (35!-23!) (10!-6!). So ya, your video was helpful.
May Lisa you are the best i been trying t figure out factorial from his last video and couldnt get it even till this video but its denominators and u simplified it for me so easily thank you
waaaw i am so happy this was so easy I am not even studying math I am nursing students, but i enjoy maths because i love physics so being good at maths will help me to understand physics more. THANK YOU SO MUCH AGAIN AND AGAIN. I WILL APPRIATE YOU EVEN MORE IF YOU CAN DO A VIDEO ABOUT the gamma function.
Thank you, taking a biostatistics class and was stuck on factorials. I knew what factors were but not factorials. Thank you for unsticking me...squeak, squeak. in your video about binomial probability, how did you factor and cancel using the 2nd denominator factoral? uncertain on how you did that. thanks,
OMG... so glad ur videos are up! you explain it so easy for me to understand. Thank god for you! I love teachers! thanks soooooooooooooooo much! wooohooo
hi Patrick) I have a equation a!+1=b^2 in which a and b are integers. I have only found 3 pairs.(4,5);(5;11);(7;71); could you help me to find 4th pair?
What about limits? for example as the limit approaches infinity and n!/2n!+1 type problems? How would I know if it diverges or converges. I know for this problem it would converge to 1/2 due to using the HA test but what if they were not the same, how would I work that out?
woahhh this has saved me before my exam in 2 days time :P Btw, ive seen quite a few vids, that use a dot, instead of the multiplication sign.... is that an american thing? or statistical sign? sorry for the ignorance
best calculator for all maths probs like factorial permutation and combos or even sin cos tan and other stuff is CAAIO fx-82ES PLUS.. its the best graphics calc you can ever own!
What if you have n! in numerator and (n+1)! in denominator. n!/(n+1)! I am trying to learn how factorials simplify in evaluating sequences and series. What throws me off is the denominator with the factorial outside of the parenthesis.

ikrrr i love this channel

How to solve this
[? ] + [ ? ] + [ ? ] = 30
You can use 1,3,5,7,9,11,13,15
Please solve this humble request
Thankyou soooo much sometimes RUclips can teach me better than my own statistics teacher!
patrickjmt, not youtube.
@flinagin thanks for the kind words. glad it helps
PatrickJMT you have saved my life!!!!! thank you so much for being so detailed in your explanation... you have saved my Statistics Class!!!!
This vid explained factorials in great detail. I am so grateful to you patrickJMT.
you're a good teacher!
bro thank you so much, why is this the only youtube video that actually explains how to multiply the rest of the numbers in order like, your a life saver my guy
Thank you humble narrator
Your plain English approach helped me so much
Awesome. Haven't used that in years - immediately explained. Then the "gap cancel" at the end - wow, beautiful.
Thank you so much for making these videos! I'm in pre calculus right now, and your videos are so insanely helpful.
Thank you! I learned more in this 8.5 minutes than in the entire 2 hours that I sat in class today. You rock!.
glad you enjoy my vids : )
You are better than any other teacher I have had in my life...

@Angelotarus become a teacher! the world needs more caring and qualified teachers
Great penmanship, exquisite. Good teacher.
Thanks for putting this up. It was really helpful to have a concrete review of how factorials work now that I'm doing things with infinite n! in calculus.
Thank you!! I'm studying for the GRE and this helped me understand factorials 100%.
heyy youre the best! Im here stuck in a statistics problem and this factorial thing was confusin me. great vid! It makes everything simple!
just started dong factorials, permutations etc the tutor goes through it way too quick. you saved my life! First time doing maths in 8 years xD
ik the feeling, teachers are way too fast-paced so they can pump out every chapter they're forced to teach until the end of the year. It completely ruins education
Needed this to understand your taylor's polynomail video, thanks :).
@Kateosaurus patrickJMT!

Patrick JMT is a blessing
Thank you so much ! You explained this very well and clear , and I really needed that refresher
I can't imagine how I would ever need to know this
NathanSnow this is awesome you can even find out how many names can be made by english alphabets
@@hamzaahmed9224 How? Is it (26!)?
THANK YOU! I had a math problem that was 100!/98! and it happened to be here. Im glad you explained it as well.
Thank you for bringing your intellect to us that are mathmatically challanged. :)
thanks a lot man! I take the pcat on saturday and this helped a lot!
Wow, thanks! I do not recall learning this in school until now.
Yeah definately a great tutorial, well spoken and illustrated.
Would you say that just constantly doing lots of questions would imrpove your skill in that area, or is it better to focus on the formulas and logistics behind it?
THANK YOU! I had such a simple confusion, of which has been resolved. Thanks to your efforts.
your penmanship is so beautiful!!! thank u for the vid. i learn a lot.
YOU ARE AN AMAZING TEACHER please do some more pre algebra
(5n-2)(5n-3), or 25n^2 - 35n + 6 if you prefer, as when you expand it out all other terms cancel.
@redmnm123 not sure what there is to solve...
(4/5)^2 = (4/5)(4/5) = 16/25.
watching these videos on 2x speed can help you if you are low with time, if you focus more, it is pretty easy to follow
Thanks for the demo. it was very helpful!!
OOoooohh I get it so, 35! 10!/ 23! 6! = (35*34*33*32*31*30*29*28*27*26*25*24) (10*9*8*7) because I simplified the 35! with the 23! first and then the 10! with the 6! second. i actually thought that this topic would be damn hard...but im done with the basics in 8 mins 34 secs...thank u sir :D
Thank you so much for this.
The simplifying tip really helps.
@Kateosaurus : )
Thanks! I guess I was expected to know this for class, but I'd never encountered it before now!
Thanks a lot sir. You helped me clear my basics

Can u make a video of how to do factorials with variables?
sir very great explanation, you are really doing great work, keep it up 👍👍
You mean multiply the number by every INTEGER below it? Please clarify. Thank You. Your videos have been very helpful to me
thanks for the video... I suck at probability and all statistics.. but need it to pass one of my papers... cheers...
you, my friend, are a hero
Thank you so much! Your videos are amazing!!!! Its making my life so much easier!!
Very nicely done vids, helped a lot.
hi Patrick) I have a equation a!+1=b^2 in which a and b are integers. I have only found 3 pairs.(4,5);(5;11);(7;71); could you help me to find 4th pair?
teacher u r awesome at explaining...thank you
Thanks man :) I lack of math so I'm teaching myself for programming proposes.
I just used the method where you can cancel out numbers or variables as well as a calculator.
great job i ended up liking and getting a solid understanding of n!
agaaain you save my day !! seems that ur videos always help me to get through each course.. XD yaay
hey man thanks a lot. How about these two?
a) 100!-98! and
(b) (n+1)!-n!
please explain it to me by replying on here. Cheers
Nice work. Great explanation
Sir U HELPED ME A LOTTT... And your explanation is awesomeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee...... thank you very..........................yyyy much
This tutorial is gold.
u made it easy to understand...best teacher 😍😍😍😍✌✌✌✌
is there any way to do something with a factorial on the other side of an equation eg... x! = 50. Find what x is. Or is that illegal?
What about limits? for example as the limit approaches infinity and n!/2n!+1 type problems? How would I know if it diverges or converges. I know for this problem it would converge to 1/2 due to using the HA test but what if they were not the same, how would I work that out?
this help[s more than the e2020 video for my class
Sir 0! Ka kya hota hai
This is really well presented. Math is getting less intimidating the further I delve into it.
thanks so much, so much better than my maths book!
thank you I needed to find out 7 factorial and I had no idea till I saw your video thank you ill subscribe and like this !
very nice and simply explained.
woahhh this has saved me before my exam in 2 days time :P
