How using a SPEED RAMP can IMPROVE your videos!!

First, you need to know what kind of footage you can speed ramp, in theory everything can be speed ramped in some ways but the best way is to slow the footage down right at the key moment and then speed it up at the end to transition into the next shot. To do so you need to record the video you want to use in either 60 or 120fps. If you record at 60fps you will be able to slow it down half the speed and if you record in 120fps you can go even to 1/5 of the speed.
For this tutorial we are going to use this very cool shot of a surfer that I shot last year at 120fps. as he surfs into the barrel we are gonna slow it down up until he exits and then speed it up.
