As someone who has been a huge fan of PBS's logos for a long time and is now getting into alternate histories and timelines, I definitely have to say that these logos look absolutely amazing! Not to mention the effort you put on this almost made me thought that these logos are real. I would love to see more of this timeline's PBS in future videos!
Okay, I Don't usually comment on logo videos. But I need to say this right now: These are probably one of the best fan-made logos I've seen. Probably the best imitations and representations of television over the years ever! These logos feel so authentic, i love it! Like, HOLY SHIT this is soooo good! I see you done your research with this type of stuff and I applaud you for it! I know you probably won't see this comment since this video is 2 months old as I'm writing this, but you have done an amazing job my friend. 👏👏👏
this is hcomb speaking on behalf of senary im convinced you did some multiversal traveling to do this in all seriousness this is probably the best au video ive ever seen i cant put it into words the effort is CRAZY
I’ve seen quite a lot of fictional concepts and logos, and this may just be the best. I love the 1988 logo here, but all of them are really good. Can’t wait for future content!
Bit late in here, but this looks absolutely AMAZING. The focus making the logos look genuinely like they're from the decade (as well as the low quality stills in some parts, that's bonus points) is something not seen often in logo alternate history.
I love all of these logos. I like how some of the logos have worse video resolution than others, as if they were recorded off of a bad signal/bad RUclips video upload. Amazing! Can’t wait to see what’s next.
YOOO!!! this is actually really amazing! it's actually really impressive how you managed to make the older logos look so realistic, and all of the effort put in to every logo is so cool! I'm glad to see you were inspired by our Viacom AU to make this, this is really cool! I'm actually so happy! ^_^
Good job man, your content is amazing and I hope you never give up, thanks for all the people who went on the stream! Thanks to the people in the chat for making this more entertaining
Seeing the KCPT logo shouldn't have made me as happy as it did ;_; This was so cool to watch. I genuinely hope they hire you for their graphic design team cause these look so realistic!
Gonna be so honest, this is so good. This is like an actual type Channel branding that would be great to see. But the last part is great, You did a great job, got me making my own thing. 🙌🏾
I recognise the music for the still slides from the Fawlty Towers episode 'Communication Difficulties', where Basil turns on the radio loud and Manuel puts his fingers in his ears - making sure Mrs. Richards hears it.
This is honestly really interesting! I do wonder what the NYC/Newark PBS station (WNET) would've been called if NET was ERTC 2:25 is absolutely horrifying just thinking what the logo community would've been like without P-Head
This is so impressive! I like how PBS’s logos have way more personality than our timeline! I wonder if you made the music for 1:15, 2:34 , 3:36 , 4:25-4:41 and 1:31
I don't know how you managed to outdo the original work, but the ETRC logos looks scarily authentic. This is nirvana for me, as both a logo and althist buff. You did great!
fun fact: net actually DID used to be called ETRC until 1957 when it was cahnged to NETRC (national educational television and radio center) before becoming NET in 1963
with how the station slides are one and the same across all stations, i'd imagine this PBS was much more centrally operated. maybe not even running off the member station model, instead following an affiliate model with the CBP as its owner.
The 1995-1999 PBS Station Idents featured in this video are amazingly well done and include beautiful audio btw. I wonder how you were able to create a 90s TV Station Ident so deep, so realistic to where this was all done perfectly especially the aesthetics of that time. I also wonder where the music used actually came from btw.
@@Adam2012lol Vegas Pro was used for the majority of the video ^_^ Paint.NET was used for image editing and NTSC-RS was used for most of the VHS effects.
These seriously look like something you'd see on television at the time. That's how good you are at creating these mock-ups.
Yeah
I think they use real VHS tapes to make this

oh my GOD, these logos are scarily authentic to the time periods they come from
this is nuts! i love it!!
I’ve seen quite a lot of fictional concepts and logos, and this may just be the best.
I love the 1988 logo here, but all of them are really good. Can’t wait for future content!
Whoa. Impressive work! The realism (utilizing film formats and graphic aesthetics of the time) really adds to this type of video and you aced it!

i love how polished this looks
i lowkey wanna do one of these but for dic entertainment

Why is this better than what we actually have 😅
Sidenote: you gotta do one for PBS Kids now
instant sub, this actually feels like it was smuggled in from another version of our world and i LOVE IT! truly outstanding work you've made here
Really interesting video! These logos and idents really look like something that would've actually been used on television at that time!
this is really REALLY good, everything from the attention to detail to make it look like different recordings. this seems very believable.

𝓣𝓱𝓲𝓼 𝓲𝓼 𝓪 𝔀𝓸𝓻𝓴 𝓸𝓯 𝓪𝓻𝓽. 𝓣𝓱𝓲𝓼 𝓲𝓼 𝓫𝓾𝓵𝓵𝓼𝓱!𝓽.- Some PBS announcer
Excellent work! If PBS went an entirely different direction for their branding I can see it happening.
What will PBS Kids look like in this AU?
oh wtf this is really cool??? i like the 1988 logo a lot
The alternating video and sound quality is what makes this for me. Really makes it seem more real.
This is... The alternative timeline of
PBS. It's a peak
These are the most impressive set of mockups I've ever seen, keep it up!
I think this brand-new style could open up some new opportunities for the Logo History community!
Cool! Also, in my timeline for PBS, the P-Pals remain as the mascots of PBS Kids.
Oh!🖤💚🖤 💙💚💙
I recognise the music for the still slides from the Fawlty Towers episode 'Communication Difficulties', where Basil turns on the radio loud and Manuel puts his fingers in his ears - making sure Mrs. Richards hears it.
I’m mind blown on how good these are! Keep it up!
I love this video so much, I wanna see the alt timeline logo history for PBS Kids, NBC, CBS, and ABC!

Oh shit I should make my own atlh of that
now this is what i would call fucking great
Dude, you went all out with this one. Congrats.
Oh my! That was a really interesting concept of a video
I would watch more of these.
Babe wake up, Logobro just posted an alt timeline video!
The opening theme sounds like Windows 7 startup sound. Ahh, the nostalgia.
2:33 pda tv from the laotianlands (1971-1980s?)
I'd honestly pay to see an alternate logo history of Screen Gems.
I'd also pay to see ones on NBC, CBS and ABC.
is this assuming screen gems doesn’t get renamed to Columbia Pictures Television in the mid 70s
@@rahmel2009 🤔

sounds like pbs glass ellipse

3:36 is from an old HBO sign off ident.
1:28 HBC from the Laotianlands (1965-1974)
why is this so PEAK??
The peak brodcasting service.
holy shit this is so awesome
nice work out there!
Im thinking you should turn this into some series but cool!
I don't know how you managed to outdo the original work, but the ETRC logos looks scarily authentic. This is nirvana for me, as both a logo and althist buff. You did great!
this looks like something you would see on tv back in the day
Bro these are better than the actual idents themselves
does anyone know whats the music during the "station slides"?
Also the logos are GREAT.
These actually seem legit, warts and all. How do you do this? I’m genuinely impressed.
look at the credits

Interesting, i would love to see other TV logos in this concept.
We need more of these types of videos
The music for some of these are:
1980: HBO (sign off from ‘75(?))
1985: WGN-TV ‘84
The rest are either PBS-related shit, and/or silent
2:24, where's the p head??
3:59 here. you're welcome

We're these all done on ai. They look so realistic and more aestheticy than the original ones.

@LogoBro1 😲😁
Cool video!😂 imagine prs alt timeline and vacuum too xd 🤣
I would try an AU logo history, Basically with any studio.
I'm confused, What's the font for the 1969-1985 PBS logo (just the PBS lettering)?
It was likely based off one of the 1971 prototype PBS logos.

@2:33 where did you find this music
What editor do you use to make this?
Vegas Pro
is this gonna be a series or just a one-off project?
How did you do the film effects?
holy shit you tricked me so hard i thought all of these were real thats how good it is
This is so accurate that it felt as if it is in this timeline
For some reason I want a alternative history of WGCU although it is a PBS station
And PBS kids
4:24 WCNY MENTIONED LETS GOOOOO
Anyways, can I use this for my TV AU?
FRRRR 🔥🔥🔥
this is so fucking peak, i honestly WISH this was real
Can you make a green screen of the one at 9:25 ?
I'm sorry, i am now obsessed with the '95-'99 variant
Me too😭 how did they do these fictional idents😭
loga software
Just imagine if PBS hired you :D
how was this video made with?
Logobro1, can i ask you a question?
3:59 audio?
WGN Channel 9 - "Chicago's Very Own" (Station ID, 1985)
Where can I find the original audios for 5:42 and 9:08? I can't find it anywhere, thanks.
Id love a blooper reel of these.
wow this is crazy i wanna do that too

Where did you get this fanfare from? Never heard of it before
NET Ident Theme-Plenipotentiary by Eric Siday
The 1966-1970 part reminds of the NET (1969) Logo
