It makes me sad how in the US we buy cheap mass produces products and toss them away at the smallest tear. 60 years ago we had a cobbler in my small town. He could make a living here. My dad wore boots his entire life. This man resoled them. I loved the smells in his shop. Dad kept his boots for 30, 40, 50 years!
You need a seam ripper to help get the stitching out. I watch my daughter pick at seams (she is learning to sew) and it drives me nuts. Haha! As always beautiful work. I think the black is more versatile for outfits. The owner will be so happy!

Crazy. How do you dye over _patent_ leather??? Doesn't patent have some type of coating on it to make it so shiny? Or is it simply polished and buffed to look the way it does?
It’s painful to watch you take apart those beautiful little shoes but the end result was worth it just gorgeous however I must say I thought the red was adorable♥️
Great job! The shoes are too flat for me and works better on sandals. The Dior slingback pumps look great, tho. I would very much like to see you work on an antique pair of shoes, like from the 19th century.
