As an older sibling, the most favoritism my brother got, typically, was when he’d hit me and run away and one of my parents would stop me from chasing him up the steps usually. Btw I’m in college, now, so this is relatively accurate. There are a couple others in which he was favored, such as getting his phone early. My Mom made me wait until my 8th grade Christmas, when I was over 13.5 years old. My brother wasn’t even 12. I went through multiple weekends bored as Hell just so he can get a phone halfway into his 6th grade year. I was happy to get one, but shortly after, I realized it was bullshit that he didn’t have to wait and I did.
