Welcome episode 2 of my Great Guitar Build Off 2023 build! This video includes the making of the neck. The Invitationals this year require that the guitars are to be built with no less than 50% recycled materials.
The shaft of the neck is made of Narra/Amboyna, the fretboard is Gaboon Ebony, and the binding and inlays are Corian.

Great video as always. I'm about to start my first build, will be ages before I'm even good enough to consider GGBO, but could I ask what thickness of neck blank you use? I like the idea of not having a scarf joint.

If you want to have a headstock break angle without a scarf joint, I would say you want the neck blank to be at least 2 inches thick.
