vertical ones are the worst, why don't they realise what 16:9 is and that their phone can take 16:9 images, I'm sick of seeing vertically recorded videos on the internet, I also hate that fucking stabilisation software they all use where the black bars at the sides keep moving, it only works when it is landscape, if there going to annoy everyone with their phones at at concerts at least learn how to use the fucking thing.
Bazı istisna şarkılar da var tabii: Whiskey In The Jar, St. Anger, All Nightmare Long, Seek and Destroy (2015'ten beri onu da Eb'den çalıyorlar gerçi).
I myself am a megadeth fan first and I do think they're a better band, but if you hate on these guys you're just being an idiot. This performance is glorious in every way. Especially considering the more intimate setting.
@@AzaelVI I don't get what people's problem with Kirk's wah is. Even as a guitarist I get that some people use it as a crutch but Kirk has made such an integral part of his sound that it almost doesn't work without it
As easy as it is to say "wow if I was there I wouldn't think of even touching my phone much less recording all of it" it's also to the point of the fact that this is in fact a once in a lifetime experience, and sometimes you gotta document that kind of stuff. Yea maybe it distracts you a tiny bit (for a minute assuming your not recording the whole concert) but having that raw footage from your exact POV to be able to watch any time in the future is always awesome, especially considering that no matter how much fun you have -- unless your brain is magic -- you are not going to remember every detail of every minute of the show by yourself.
Just take a photo as a proof and keep the phone in your pocket whats the point of recording the whole performance you can anyways watch it again on RUclips in much better quality.
What i usually do is take a bunch of pictures at the beginning of the concert, then put my phone away and soak in the rest of the show. I never take videos, since the audio will never be of any good anyway. Theres no point in it.
+Bryan Gomez Yes, he blew his voice back in the nineties but it's coming back to him. Plus, he doesn't have to yell as hard, as it's not a giant crowd.
I know right?? Even though I don't listen to them now but holy mother fuck he took me fucking years back and reminded me why I felt in love with Metallica years ago.
I'm still happy to have bands like Maiden, Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer, Anthrax, Testament and so on still go on even though they've reached a certain age. Metal will never die! \m/
Never thought I would say that they are actually sounding good! Haven't sounded this good for over a decade. Guitar tone is back and James voice sounding defined and fresh...
Watch the night before show they sounded really good there as well the band as whole did I will leave out who sucked that show but it was awesome !!!!!
The one thing I have always loved about live Metallica is that they don't give a shit if they fuck up or not they simply just enjoy playing their music whether they mess up or not and thats the true joy of being a musician
@@yourfriendlyneighbourhoods8202 woahhh settle down pal, that is a very bold statement. There's a reason they lower robs bass, can't hear shit man. Don't you ever dare disrespect the major rager ok? Metallica in small stage mode is so outrageously cool. I think they play better in this format - the 30th anniversary shows, etc. So grateful to the Metallica YT channel for making all this stuff available to watch.
You can tell Lars likes playing this one. His performance is really tight here. Plus, loving the little run of fills he does around 3.13. Hatfield also sounds epic. Had the pleasure of seeing this live last summer, and it sounded awesome then as well.
It must feel so good to play at Rasputin in Berkeley. Really cool music store. When a band this big goes back to their roots (small venue) you can tell they are super engaged and more on point.
Lennox Elias Granath almost. Lars just has to practice more to sound good like he did here, Kirk and James need to get rid of that crappy guitar tone by turning down the mids and cranking up the gain more, and there you have it!! :)
Could Lars have been any luckier to have James Hetfield respond to his newspaper ad? That has to be the most effective ad ever placed in the history of the world. Hetfield is at the right hand of satan in this performance with his "good god" -- wide stance and colossal riff. The voice sounds great. Rock on, Metallica. We love you.

7:06 Trujillo's 16th notes are on point. Nobody beats Cliff, & Jason's cool, but it's awesome to hear tight chops.
Richard Smith oh please, Rob is a far more skilled bassist than Cliff. Remember Cliff died when he was 24 and didn’t reach his full potential.

lol people watching Metallica live from their cell phones

i know it's so sad when arguably the most influential metal band is less than 10 feet from you and you're staring at a phone
I can understand capturing the moment and what not, but just take only a couple photos or a small amount of photots. No need to film the entire show.

Now that's Sad but true!!!!
Lars: actually improving
James: sings like 20 years ago
Rob: awesome as always
Kirk: not the best preformed solo

So crazy that Rob has been around for nearly 13 years now, in the band. Time flies.

To be fair, he screwed up the solo on the actual studio recording too...so maybe it's intentional? lol
