I watched this with my 12 foot long angel-furby-thing. We’re slightly jealous to have been surpassed in length. I wouldn’t recommend putting a spine in a furby any longer that 8 feet, as it can’t really support the weight. Every single one of your videos has been a real help throughout the creation process, and I’m always glad to see a new one.
Oh man I'm a sculptural needle felted and I never thought of making faces that way! That seems like it's be an amazing way to make art doll heads and hands!
after my original furby (made with a mini bean bag furby) was kidnapped, I've resorted to making a new one, that will work. your videos have been a great help for me in researching the process!
I am going to make long furbies with my friend tomorrow. We have wanted to for a while and I have both the fetuses at my house we just haven't had time until now. I am super excited. I have a furby buddy and a 1998 furby would the pattern you used work for both or should I just make my own pattern using the existing skins?
I believe instructables has patterns for both sizes, but unpicking the seams and using the existing skins is a sure bet! Tag me on Instagram @theoddbody when you finish because I’d love to see what you come up with! ✨
Me and my friends are planning on making that furby with limbs and if it goes successfully we're gonna make a long furby too! Ur tutorials have been inspiring me alot-😃👍
Few things are comforting to me as your videos. Sometimes when I'm overwhelmed I'll put one of them on and it calms me down almost instantly. Thank you for making such lovely things
Amazing work! it turn out such a Wynorrific sight, we are truly blessed to have such talented artists out there/pos!!!! I'm sorry if you've already answer this question and you find it annoying but how long does it take you to make each long furby?
I don’t mind at all, and thank you! Each Furby is different, but for simpler designs I’d say 5-6 hours, and 10-12 hours for more complex ones. However I rarely make a Furby all at once, so the work time is spread over a few days or weeks. Hope that helps!
Yes, I found that with shorter fur it was easier to brush the fur out of the seams with a pet brush. I’ll be making an updated tutorial this year now that I’ve been doing this for some time :)
I really want to watch your videos but the audio is so quiet. My TV is normally on 8 volume for RUclips. I have to turn it up to 65 or 70 to hear these. I love long furbies and want to see these but I can't have the volume that loud.

12 feet is impressive too! And I agree, adding a spine wouldn’t help much except to make it extra heavy :,)
I need to see ur long furby if they’re that long
Make a human-sized Halloween costume of a long furby
I don’t know if you realize how fantastically horrific that idea is. I love it
I don't know how you manage to give your videos such a calm vibe while creating such a cursed, yet beautiful, creature!
Furbys are (mostly) gentle creatures. They guide my hand
I would be cool if you made a long furby with articulated spider legs
I love that idea, just in time for spooky season too!
a bat furby would be stellar

You’re the one who bought them? Awesome!
I remember making my 22-foot-long furby completely by hand and it took me months to finish her 😂 having a sewing machine is MUCH easier
22 feet!!! That is a heavenly horror. What pray-tell is their name?
@@theoddbody1856 her name is Frankie Lucille Buttercup!
With my first long furby I actually felted my face plate similar to that! It makes it so much more huggable!
This furby turned out amazing!

@@theoddbody1856 I don't have Instagram but I will update the comment. I will probably just end up ripping the seams so I don't screw it up
OMG!!!!!!! Absolutely incredible!!!!

Excellent content all around! 👏👏👏
Just under 4lbs! 💪🏻
@@theoddbody1856 not too heavy then, but you'd definitely feel the weight if you tried wearing it like a scarf lolol!
i love your content i cant wait for your commisions to open :D
L0ng b0y 👌
Did you stop with the tape trick to keep the fur out of the seams?

Could you make Jake from adventure time, but like long?
Marvelous! The question is now, how long? 🧐
This is a perfect idea
@@theoddbody1856 OMG you responded! Any length, size, or shape would work due to the nature of Jake. I love all of your videos!
Good point! Hard to mess up a Jake shape. 〰️➰✔️Also, thank you!
truly unhinged i love it
Thank you!
Make a long furby that has a bunch of wings and a bunch of eyes
