What ALGS should do is this… (there’s way to much back and forth with the current system) SO each region (4) has 4 LEAGUES. Premier League, through L1-L3 Ok! 20 teams in each league BUT you can be promoted or relegated in League Games. Top 4 go up Bottom 4 go Down! Top 10 teams from Each Regions respected PL go to LAN no challengers to complicated BUT the tiered system gives teams direct routes to the PL and playing in a LAN spot for ALGS pros. Not to mention other ALGs affiliated Tournaments which can have invites and also have the top half of each Regions respective leagues play within their own League tournament. This will make ALGS a One Stop World Cup for Apex whilst giving smaller teams a chance. You could have a Challengers to brake into the L3 (bottom 4 get relegated? Who comes up?) OK so the challenger circuit could be compiled in a similar way Pro Leagues happens in its current format allowing more and more teams to compete and then at the end of a season (league season) or just before the end (cc may have to start just before a league season due to scale). Near the end of the league season top 40 teams compete of cc online (no lan) top 4 go up! Into L3 Bottom 4 go down. You can stay safe in the middle of divisions so anywhere above 16th. Ect it’s a work in progress but I believe it should be the future format. And also have cash tournaments also so like Pro/Amateur tournaments. Lower tier cups with a bit of cash ,gives teams incentives to strive up the ladder. I haven’t worked out the points system yet but like I said… it’s a work in progress

realistically i think SSG and above are pretty safe. XSET is the only real threat of jumping any of them with how the points are laid out. I think DIG and Optic are too low. They'd have to get like top 3 on the whole weekend and GKS or OXG would have to place really really bad. I guess it's possible but super unlikely.
I agree with you. If there are any changes, it'd be two teams at most. Like you said xset is the most likely to make it. DIG and Optic aren't likely to make it based on their overall performances the past couple weeks. It would be really rare. I think the deciding factor will be if teams decide to grief. For example, DZ might decide to grief xset so DZ doesn't have to worry about contesting xset in LAN since xset and dz both land in skyhook. I'm sure there are other teams that might grief to ensure they move on. I just think the most likely grief might be the DZ and xset, since DZ are qualified and don't have much to lose.
