little suggestion - let the audience hear the dry sound before you add effects
yes, the problem is that the original sound was already quite processed probably so we can't really estimate the impact of the effect pedals on the original sound
@@grg537 ah, ok
@@grg537 No processing has happened before the signal went into the effect pedals.
@@gr4phic3r Sorry for the late response. No processing has happened before the signal went into the effect pedals. If you want to hear the dry signal you can hear it in the corresponding full videos on our channel. This video is a collection taken from cut scenes of the original videos.
@@Bonedo-Synthesizers thanks for the info
this video is absolutely amazing, the tones u're getting outta these combinations are great!
Your original demo for the Nemesis convinced me to get one in the near future, hearing it in this context just confirms it.
Nice! The Avalnche run sounds so good..
Well done guys! love the boss space echo amazing dub techno chords coming through..
I think I should start replacing vst plugins with analog pedals 😄
great video! For pedals I enjoy and recommend the EHX memory man for dark bbd repeats - pretty flexible and really colours the sound - looking at the Oto BIM next. You got me thinking about that eventide though......
Just bought the DD-7 for my mixer send SFX. Should be awesome! My first external efx processor, gonna run a TB-303 through it.
Superb playing
Top Video, sehr anwendungsorientiert.
MF104 is worth the money, hopefully the plug in release will drive the prices down or is a test for a physical reissue (weather the pedals themselves or euro rack versions of the modules)
Great video, I was wondering what kind of synthesizer is that? is there a name for synths that you plug a midi controller into? and is there a cheap one? Thanks for sharing what pedals you found work good with your synths
Hi, in this video, you can see Novation Peak, Roland SH-01a, Dreadbox / Polyend Medusa and Korg Minilogue.
Awesome showcase for these pedals. I'm really tempted to buy the Nemesis for my synths. How did you find it compared to the timeline and strymon delays in general?
I really like Strymon but in this case, Nemesis would offer a better cost / value ratio for me. Also, have a look at the Source Audio Collider. The Oil Can delay is pure gold if you like a gritty vintage delay sound.
This is a great video
Great delays! But don't forget the Erica Synth Zen Delay and the mighty Enjoy Electronics Reminder 😊
Have tried both after publishing this video. Zen Delay would be in the top 3, no doubt. Reminder though wouldn’t have made it into this list, tbh. It’s quite expensive and to me it lacks character (which isn’t necessarily a bad thing). But it’s recerb didn’t convince me at all and also the delays and filter sound very clean. Although I admire its design and live friendly interface
@@Bonedo-Synthesizers Point taken with the Reminder. I do agree with the reverb on the Reminder i use it more like a sort of distortion swell. But I realy think its something special the way its a playable multitap. I prefer it on simple percussion with midi sync. Thanks again for the video
superb, exactly what i was looking for, appreciated.
~ are all pedals being fed direct from synthesizer, is there any reamp being used, or other impedance matching?? thanks
To keep it simple (but maybe not always 100% accurate) we’ve connected the pedals directly to the synth
thanks, appreciated
My personal favourites that I use most often are the Meris Polymoon and the Pigtronix Echolution (which, being an idiot I sold then had to buy again), I didn't like the H9, just not spontaneous enough. Some I'd like to try are the Zen Delay, Nemisis, Obscura or Volante which all seem interesting....
Yes, the Polymoon is fantastic.
best delay reverb pedals for performing with electronic music? was thinking of a dual like the source audio collider, using presets and expression pedal
the collider is great for electronic music! Here's a demo video that shows its potential: ruclips.net/video/X0TBbYJQvVM/видео.html
@@Bonedo-Synthesizers thanks :)
Is the delay effect from the ocean Machine comparabile to These? Or should I Look to another Pedal for a good analog Delay the echorec maybe ?
Ocean Machine is ok but I'd rather choose a more specialised delay for that purpose. If you want to go Budget, have a look at NUX Tape Core or TC Flashback.
@@Bonedo-Synthesizers thx.
Nemesis and Volante are some bad azz pedals!!!
Obscura.. Sleeper for sure..
Fantastic delay , weird that less of us have it but I don't mind
Agreed. It was exactly what I was looking for. It does a better degraded delay sound than my Carbon Copy and my Flashback. I think the Flashback wins the modern digital delay award though. Most times I prefer the Obscura. It's a beautiful sounding delay and a steal for the price it's going for these days.
I really missed EVENTIDE H9 MAX. Which is the most sofisticated machine to my taste. And the greatest sound ever.
It’s a multi effect unit. Different approach and therefore not featured in this list. But it will sure find its way into a future best of multi effect pedals comparison.
Isn't strymon timeline good also?
Tbh, I found Volante to be better. At least when it comes to Analogue / Tape delays. As for other delay types, I also prefer different models. Timeline is good, but in my opinion, there are better alternatives now
Do you know if the Flashback 2 has the same delay algorithms as the Triple Flashback? I love the sound of the Flashback 2 in this brief demo - but the Triple Flashback can sync to MIDI clock, which is a feature that I really want.
Flashback x4

Should be Volante, Timeline, El Cap, DIG, Brigadier and Deco.
Though they're all awesome we wanted to maintain a broader selection, keeping also in mind the price. Between Timeline and Volante, I prefer Volante but Timeline is also an excellent pedal.
Empress echosystem?Strymon timeline? hello?///
Echosystem, Timeline and Volante all play in the same price range and between those three, Volante has been my favorite. Echosystem and Timeline are excellent pedals, too - no doubt.
I love ping pong Delays.
we all do...
ZOOM MS-CDR 70 !!!!!!!!!!!
Good suggestion! We'll consider it when doing a multi effect comparison
DD-200
This video shows exactly nothing with not knowing the ever changing input sounds to delays. The only positive thing is now I’ve got the list of stereo delays to research. But thanks anyway
Sorry, but Strymon Timeline is the BEST....
I prefer Volante but Timeline is a great pedal, too.
Terrible review....you made flashback like a trash, pitching time while delay is on, youre clearly out of idea wth u need to do, and so on....
@@lostinepic you're not too much into dub and ambient music, are you? Pitching time is a very common effect and crucial to judge the quality of a pedal.
@@Bonedo-Synthesizers that's right, pitching time is a good creation of live sound if the pedal quality is great ;-)
@@lostinepic I thing he knows exactly what he is doing with time streching in real time.
