Really shows how awful the Group Stage system is in League... If FPX were in a harder group they would have been eliminated with the way they played that week. But they got the easiest group ever and were able to come out as a #1 seed playing like garbage. Luckily, we got to see how good this team actually was but how many good teams have been knocked out of tough groups because of a bad group stage?
yeah, but FPX were getting better and better during the whole tournament and truthfully it would be so sad if they got eliminated early because those semis against IG were so much fun to watch even if I was more IG fan. For me the saddest fact about this worlds isn´t the fact that G2 lost but the fact that every semifinal game in either series was way better and interesting than whole final series. I am no expert but it always baffles me how differently teams could play and how much their performance changes every weak/day to better or worse. It sometimes feels like it is not even about opponent and different strategy but about the way the players got up that day.
Loco I think the bigger problem with the fight around barron in game 1 is G2 went too slow. They only had 8 seconds before pyke's ult ran out so they really needed to hurry up on the re-engage.
actually game 3 i think the reason y they sent ryze top instead of ez is because wave cleaning. If theyd sent ez top, then top turrent was gonna go down quickly.
tl;dr: 1 game pike pick is bad + they didn't dive gp top. 2nd game fire dragon suicide play throw the whole game. 3rd game was basically the 1st game with veigar instead of pike.
The semis were close games where G2 won because SKT couldn't close out their early game leads. The only game that was not close was game 2 where SKT showed what they can do to G2 if they played their early leads well. That second game was basically what FPX did to G2 in all 3 games of the Finals.
Honestly im not very impressed with Loco. Someone whos that invested in League and analysis should stay up the night and analyze this live and then upload it. You only ask for 1v1 in a Worlds Finals when you know you gonna lose the whole series for sure, and have nothing to lose. Delusional G2 fans claim Perks is chill when he is the biggest sore loser trash talker on the team, always whining about getting KS. Check out G2's 'fake' smiles in the Finals, their last ditch defence mechanism to their fans for "we are so totally getting demolished".
@@inconvenientfacts58 Or you know that you have lost the game. Also it's called banter. Everyone does it.
why did ryze go comet in game 1
Sammy Lake comet with scorch and cheap shot gives him a lot of damage early which is good into gp
Fpx literally dominated the draft which choked alot of g2 picks which was very well done tbh
All because jankos could not play qiyana and doinb has a strange obsession for nautilus since 2015.
It was more than that. They also disrespected hard. There is no way you're gonna convince me the Pyke mid was a good idea for example.
they didnt lose draft bro... they just play like shit
G2 wins most drafts from their sheer flexibility and massive champion pool and potential to move picks between players. A lot of bans need to be spent on their flex picks right out of the gate.
They just finally met another team that could do all of those same things.
@João Morato grabbz is shit? this is theie only bo5 loss this entire year, dumbass
1:50:00 I always wondered why they re-engaged.
Probably saw the ryz ult and think they had a chance because the opponent are backing up. In a way it's pretty smart of a mind game by fpx
fnc and splyce won more against fpx than g2 does that mean they are better than g2?
Yes which also means Splyce, Fnatic and Jteam is better than SKT and Damwon.
This means LPL>EU>KR>NA
@@quintonbekeur2965 nahto be real its fpx>g2>fnc>lec>lck>lpl>na
@@quintonbekeur2965 hell no, dfck if skt went to the finals it would be a different scenario. Not a dogshit performance like G2
@@Chris_IIDeadeye my real opinion is kinda different tho
FPX has a special ability where the team level is dependant on the enemy. FPX always has double the enemy team's skill. If the enemy team is average (0) FPX is average. If the enemy team suck ass FPX is worse e.g. -2 × 2 = -4. So If the enemy team is good FPX is better.
This means
FPX>G2(slightly>)SKT>FNC>KR>LCK>EU>NA>FPX
@@Chris_IIDeadeye IG would've beaten both G2 and SKT in Bo5 it's just unfortunate they met FPX in semis.
Lol the chat saying it’s extremely nitpicky. When it’s an analysis of the game of what went wrong or right for each team. Don’t worry you ain’t crazy just loco.

Wow cant argue with this one
Show us those 3 documentaries about groups, quarters and semis.
it's called marketing and selling the brand
@@geilerhengst6892 It's called arrogance.
@@narhwallord6985 It's got nothing to do with arrogance - it's all about marketing and boosting their confidence. Had they won, the arrogance argument wouldn't even be valid.
Yeah also to win worlds with this format u should need to play b01 and b05 and play good throughout and fox played like shit in b01.
Oh yeah and if only G2 got to play an LPL team in Groups, then they wouldn't even make it out to Quarters.
European team thought they are the best... they can’t even get into 1/8 at LPL
If theyd sent ez top, then top turrent was gonna go down quickly.
i cant rewatch that even tho im interested in your thoughts. it just hurts too much
tl;dr: 1 game pike pick is bad + they didn't dive gp top. 2nd game fire dragon suicide play throw the whole game. 3rd game was basically the 1st game with veigar instead of pike.
The fact G2 had to permaban Qiyana fked them so much... pretty much the reason they lost the drafts.
FPX had better players as well. G2 relied on Cheese to beat SKT. FPX and IG don't allow you to cheese.
omg thats so funny
The semis were close games where G2 won because SKT couldn't close out their early game leads. The only game that was not close was game 2 where SKT showed what they can do to G2 if they played their early leads well.
That second game was basically what FPX did to G2 in all 3 games of the Finals.
True but they didnt rely on cheese. They Relief on skts fuck ups and skt fucked Up in 3 Out of 4 Games in Lager stages hard
Honestly im not very impressed with Loco. Someone whos that invested in League and analysis should stay up the night and analyze this live and then upload it. If he knows the result in advance he makes it too easy for himself.
Not only that but he spends so many hours talking about the game and then isn't even watching the worlds finals live.
One does not simply gotta party with e-girls tho
One does not simply that’s y Yamato canon is better
enlightening review, like this
SKT died for this...
The way loco uses the word Giga is actually infuriating
Good Video!
Can someone make me understand why Korea and China have 3 individual teams each, instead of being a single Asian Championship series like all other continents have?
Its originally meant to be 3 teams per major region defined by server location. Only thing is it doesn't really make sense now since China has at least 10 servers
@@jxswu3224 well, then EUNE should have 3 teams too, EUW shoudl have 3 teams too, Turkey 3, Russia 3, japan 3, etc.
@@GCatalinStefan Turkey, Russia, Japan are all minor regions so they get one team at play ins , and EUW does have 3, the 3 EU reps, not too sure about EUNE though
@@jxswu3224 South America too. I mean there are like 6 non Asian teams in every single tournament, 8 in the best case, talking about group stage. Asian teams come in a HUGE number, while all other continents have 3 representatives in the best case scenario. I mean that's one reason Asians always win, because they come in greater numbers than all other regions combined.
@@GCatalinStefan watch play ins and you will see those first teams from south America get crushed by the third eu and na teams or the third korean teams, its also based on regional talent, that's why Vietnam gets 2 teams as a minor region and the others get none
Just fyi Jankos in his vlog in polish said they lost 15 out of 17 times to Damwon in scrimms. They just got lucky on stage imo. :D And that final was a reality check.

Every final is one sided it seems, while Monte Cristo keeps talking about double elimination which of course does have it´s benefits, I just think on team always cracks. This was not G2 playing to their level, it just wasn´t. Then you have the high execution required drafts and you got a 3-0. It was a real punch in the gut for us EU fans. So close again to making history.
FPX is the better team, but I still agree G2 were the better of 2019. FPX just evolved into a beast when it comes to play-offs
i think if they didn't get upset by JDG in spring playoffs, they'd be at MSI over iG, and they'd have won MSI and the grand slam. The whole narrative all year about G2 being the best in the world because they won MSI and are going for the grand slam, would have been derailed.
@@lostn65 I totally agree, but honestly what Umi and Doinb have is true love. She believed in him, he told her he would take her to Paris and winning the World Championship was the cherry on top. I hope he goes for 1 more year
@@mylastaccount8328 I do agree honestly, idk what I was thinking. If they won spring they would have won MSI and they crushed summer and then destroyed the world. Doinb or Tian(I dont remember) said that they were just experimenting in groups lol. I did forget about the JDG upset
I'm sure LPL fans can empathize, it's like when Royal Club made consecutive finals and lost both hard.
In my opinion, every game was lost from draft. The teams had similar conditions and number of advantages, but fpx won one of the best advantages that G2 had, which is drafts. And then they just eliminated the chance of miracles with smart early. The rest was just G2 trying to respond and trying to hold on.
I recommend a logopedist prior to flaming europe. (Not hating or anything, srly would boost your carrier)

I was disapointed when Caps left FNC for G2, not only he was going to the rival but I also felt that if he stayed FNC would be coming into these worlds as a clear favorite and a serious contender. Ultimately he did it with G2 and now I know for sure that it was the right move for him and FNC. He is happy, trashtalking every one with his mate in G2 and FNC are not the one embarassing themself again in worlds finale with the best midlanner in the world going 0-7.
FPX was not here to shit talk they were here to win and they did, thank you very much, well deserved. FNC will be the first EU org to bring back a world title one day. LPL clear n°1, LEC and LCK fighting hard for second.
All Fnatic fanboys have the fucking WORST brain damage. Rewatch last worlds and TELL ME that FNC does anything without Caps. Fucking mongoloid.
Based on all the rumors about the team atmosphere in FNC, he probably left because of that.
FNATIC cant even keep their roster together. FNC also got hilariously emberassed the whole spring and summer split and not to forget in groups.
@@narhwallord6985 You must have brain damage aswell because I didn't say otherwise. I'm saying G2 have been destroyed 3-0 just like FNC because the star midlanner wasn't performing at all. Fucking mongoloid.

G2, aka “Gold 2”, named after their players average skill level. They are currently the best team in EU and are best known for their inting midlaner, CRAPS, and their inability to defeat PVB, Vietnam’s worst team. Also with the inability to take a game off the eventual World champion for three years straight (lost both games to Samsung Galaxy at 2017 Worlds, lost 0-3 to IG at Worlds 2018, lost again 0-3 this year to FPX).
